When the scent of winter spreads in the street, the white snow falls.

My vacation trip to China, :D

Before I start to type anything officially, let me first share a photo of my family. First photo of the day. Please ignore my retarded face, hahahas! :D

(Taken at Changi Airport)

So the flight was around 5pm. We reached China, Chengdu at around 11pm, and when we reached the hotel room it was nearly 12am -.- Did part of my GP homework on the airplane. Keke, and I happened to notice the girl in front of me doing some AJC Physics homework. LOLOL! But I wasn't sure that she is from AJC, I thought there will be other schools doing the same worksheet. Hahahas! :D

Too tired and slept straight without bathing. But I did bathe before I left Singapore! Ain't smelly, I smell like roses. :DDD

The pictures below sum up the ten days vacation in China. It was freezing cold, despite me wearing like 4 tops. Hahahas! && the food is like shit in the mountains. I'm like forcing myself to eat everything (many veggies) to avoid starving. T.T #sadlife LOL, but the quality of the food improved as we begin moving down to the city from the mountains. The food is more suited to my taste in the city.

Sichuan dishes are all salty and oily. The eggs that they serve is so oily, as if oil is free of charge. The mushroom hotpot that I am looking forward to, is quite salty. >.< However, there is another 火锅 that is freaking nice. Bought instant noodles because I wanna to try, and because I'm afraid to starve to death. Hahahas! :D But their instant noodles is really damn delicious, LOL!

Alright, I shall stop tattering on. Pictures time! ^^

(Tangerines on the tree)

(Super cute pandas fighting, they are brothers sisters luh)

(Newborn baby pandas that are around 4 months old)

(吹糖人)

PS. 吹糖人 is super cool can. I saw it on Running Man before. The guy will blow into this plastic dough thingy, and blow it so the dough will inflate. Then the guy will 捏 the dough and make it into many different shapes. We can customize it. Super cool rights! But I can't stop wondering if we will be eating that guy's saliva, so I decided to skip it. :/

(This gigantic hotdog looking prata that costs only SGD 1)

I didn't post everything up cause I don't want to flood my whole blogpost with pictures. LOL! [: Anyways, it was an interesting trip where I met many kind people (though unlikely to keep in contact with them).

Some memorable people that I met:
1) XL: This super shuai guy from HwaChong (Around 1.8m)
2) XL's mother: Super talkative, but kind enough to introduce me econs tuition
3) Sinyen: Another AJCian beside my class whom I totally had not seen before
4) Ivan: Super tall kid 1.8m who is only Sec 1 (ohmanzxc, he haven't even puberty!)
5) Agnes: Singaporean tour guide who is super humorous
6) Raymond: Cheena tour guide whom I don't really like, cause he insulted that I am short and he is like some broken radio kept repeating and repeating his words/stories. && I think he super money-minded cause he kept promoting products to us (he said because I was short that's why I should eat this flower pollen thing that cost SGD100) since he can earn commission

Anyways, I bought many stuff from China. Hahas, China products. Spent SGD400+ on some Chinese tea, SGD100+ on honey products (their honey got 酒味, quite nice. Not that I drink, but yeahs). I also bought some medicine thingy and jade.

Speaking about jade, no offence but I think their director cannot do business one. Hahahas! :D The manager was explaining about jade to us, and suddenly this director appear and he dismissed the manager upon knowing that we are from Singapore. The director lives in China, YunNan, and is helping with family business luh. He is a teacher, and I think he knows nothing about business. So he taught us life lessons about filial piety, encouraging us to help those poor tribal children who lives in the mountains. I can see that he is a good man with good moral values (such people are hard to find now). Then he gave us discount on jade, LOL! (: One piece of jade cost SGD1000, then he go and slash to SGD300. Crazy manzxc, how is he going to answer to his family. The loss is so huge! >.<

(Shot 1)

(Shot 2)

(Shot 3)

These shots are taken in the cable car cause we were bored. The cable car takes around 15 minutes to reach the mountain top >.< Hahahahahas!

(My favourite food in China: yogurt!) - Drink with straw

Anyways, guess what! In China, the mountainous areas, girls are called 色魔 and the guys are called 色狼. Hahahas, if you called people using those names right here in Singapore, I think you will end up in jail. LOL! (: #interestingfacts

(Snacks for the long bus rides! Lime flavour chips, super tasty!)

Interesting signs that I found in a hotel room buffet.

That ends my entire China trip. Hahahas! :D Anyways, Agnes (Singaporean tour guide) did tell us many horror stories that happened in the mountains that we went to. When we go 高海拔地区 (mountains), cannot sleep arhs! We can only sleep in the hotel room. Cause when we sleep, we are only breathing with our nose. Not enough, because in the mountains there is a lack of oxygen already.

So there was once, this 40+ uncle died while sleeping. >.< He went away peacefully, never struggle or anything. Furthermore, mountains 的条件有限,cannot treat him in time, so he died. :( Super sad, and I was super scared that something will happen to me. Cause I ate the 晕车药 that will cause drowsiness x.x I was struggling to stay awake LOL!

&& Agnes said she witnessed the tribal people chopping up dead bodies into pieces and feed them to the vultures (type of bird). The tribes believe that only when the vultures finish feasting on these dead bodies, only will the soul of the dead are able to rest in peace in heaven. But gross shit! This kind of rituals is less often seen in the tribes now, although they are still being practiced. Sorry to end my blogpost with such disgusting stories, but I think these true stories do help us to start thinking about how happy and blissful we are. 我们要懂得知足,并珍惜自己所拥有的一切。等到失去了,后悔都来不及了。Suddenly I became very Chinese after this China trip LOL! :D
