There's nothing I would do than to wake up next to you.

During these few days of the holidays, I found a good hangout place. (:

The Star Vista!

Located at the Buona Vista MRT, this shopping centre hosts many delicious restaurants. LOL, that's the best thing. It is totally a food paradise to me! Woots!~

There is also a performing theatre for us to watch plays (of course, it looks very grand and I figured the ticket pricing will be very expensive, but I didn't went to check :3), but I am very interested in their plays. Hahahas, currently they are advertising for this 'Lord of the Rings' play where the strings orchestra will play the soundtracks while the movie screens in the background. It is damn cool, omfg! ~!@#$%%&&*()_

(My lunch)

So I started my food journey with this Japanese restaurant here for lunch. I forgot the name, but it starts with the letter B. LOL! (: Their posters and everything attracts me a lot and their food just looks so yummy!

(Appetizer)

The appetizer (I forgot the name again) that my whole family shared. LOLOL!~ There is cabbage (I think, I'm bad at recognizing vegetables) under the egg, and mayonnaise and brown sauce covering the egg. Hahahahas! It is some sort of a pancake. This is seriously good stuff, /thumbs up/

(My sister's)

Hmm, my babysis ordered a combo, comprising of a bowl of ramen and a small plate of garlic rice. The ramen was so-so, but quite filling. I'd prefer Ajisen ramen though. Hahahas! (: However, the garlic rice smells and tastes heavenly, I swear :D I wanted to order the seafood garlic rice initially, but since my daddy also wanted that, I decided to try new stuff...

And I ordered
(Seafood Okos)

Hahahas, my lunch! (: The design of the mayonnaise on my pancake is super intricate that I didn't bear to eat it. Hahahahas! Okayys, this amount of mayonnaise is fattening. But I like it. As the name suggested, there is seafood in it. The prawns and sotongs are very juicy, very nice. Hahahahas! (:

(Daddy's garlic rice)

I tried the garlic rice, and I think it is perfect. This set comes with a bowl of salad and miso soup. Hahahas! (: The miso soup is a little salty, but I guessed that's how things work because so far I haven't come across any stores that serves miso soup that is suitable for my taste. Hahahahas! (:

(My mummy's teriyaki chicken)

Hahahas, this dish is the chef's recommendation. I think it is not quite worth the price, because the chicken that they gave was quite little, although the chicken was delicious. But actually it is the usual serving if you eat out in the food court. The chicken is nice, the sauce is nice, even the rice is nice! Everything looks and tastes palatable. Oishi! Hahahas! (:

We ordered a jug of lemon iced water as well, and the total bill was around $72. Hmm, given that it is a Japanese restaurant, I figured the price was fine, (: Hahahas!

After the scrumptious meal, we walked around the mall (first time there), and spotted many interesting shops, such as shops specialising in merely Japanese and Korean goodies. Stepped into the Korean store first to buy my topokki (rice cakes), some instant noodles (cheese-flavoured, omg), some crackers (they looked so different from the usual ones that we have), and lastly, the bean paste. Hahahas! :D It is quite a small store with many nice delicacies! Woots!~

Then we went into the Japanese store and bought some chocolates (my econs tutor introduced one), food sprinkles and some snacks. Omg, I think I shopped for too much food, :3

So after much exploration, my food was digested and we went for a second round of eating. Tada, this time for desserts! Marble Slab Creamery! My second time there! (My first was with Kaiyuan and poppyflower) :D

(Country Ice-Cream Waffle)

Hahahas, my ice-cream waffle with the flavours Caramel Macchiato and my favourite Rum and Raisin. No, I'm not drunk. I don't get drunk over just a mere scoop of ice-cream, unlike my poppyflower. Hahahas! (: The ice-cream was not bad!

(Chocolate Lava Cake)

And I decided to try their lava cake, (: God-damn delicious. The chocolate oozing out of the cake makes my saliva drips. The ice-cream flavour that I ordered was Red Velvet Cake, which is not in my top-list of ice-cream flavours, but it is still as yummy! (Y) Check out these mouth-watering dishes over at Marble Slab Creamery alright! It is nice, and also because the part-timer there was super nice-looking. Aww, <3 Very cute, totally my style. Hahahas! :D

P.S. There will always be two sides to a coin. Although the shopping mall is ulu (which is a good thing, because I get to enjoy some peace and quietness) and houses a wide array of food outlets, but the cons is that the mall is not air-conditioned (only the shops are), and there are sunlight streaming in in certain parts of the restaurants (those seats that are outside the restaurants), so yups. That's bad!

After my dessert tea-time, we quickly made our way to Pioneer Seafood Restaurant located at the Tuas, Jurong area. I didn't manage to shoot any pictures of the food, because I'm not close to my relatives and I guessed it will be a little awkward. LOL! :D

Anyways, a rough idea of what is served. (: Firstly, we have this appetizer, that is a seafood platter. The kind of seafood dishes that I have never seen before, which is superb! I enjoy trying out new dishes. Hahahas, (: They have this french fries looking food (which turns out to be fish, fortunately I decided to try one mouth of this french fries; y'all know I hate french fries LOL) Okayys, I cannot remember the other four dishes on this platter LOLOL!~

The second dish served was braised shark fin with crabmeat and maw. Omo, this is great as well. (: Long time since I had shark fin, although I wa washed with guilt as we are putting the fish in danger. But still, I love this dish! <3 Next up, we had steamed red grouper with pioneer nonya assam sauce. This is heavenly daebak. The fish was very fresh, and the sauce was damn nice (: Goes well with rice (just tat we didn't order rice, LOL)

Fourthly, the prawn fillet with macadamia nuts in orange sauce. Wtf? I haven't really seen a restaurant selling prawns in orange sauce. A very fascinating dish and the whole thing looks very palatable to me. Hahahas!~ The taste was just as mouth-watering as it looks. Omo! /thumbs up/

Next, wok-fried chopped yam with scallops and fresh mushrooms. This is the usual dish that we have in the usual restaurants. This one they served was not bad as well. (: Then we had 'Dang-Gui' Herbal Duck, hahahas! I'm not a fan of duck, so I'm not really going to comment, but my babysister says that it was not bad, the meat was tender yet juicy, but the herbal taste was quite strong. Hahahas! Hey, herbs are great for health okayys! :D ROFL!

Seafood rice with XO sauce, this one is not bad also. At least, I think this dish was better than the one they have in Jumbo. ^^ Lastly, for desserts, mango sago with pomelo. The mango sago was not the best that I had tasted, though the mango was sweet, but the juice was not as thick, so yups. But this is much better than TungLok's desserts! LOL!

Not to forget, we ordered 3 chilli crabs. Hahahas! (: The sauce was spicy enough, and the meat was fresh. I would say, Jumbo's better. But these chilli crabs are worth their price. They are much cheaper than Jumbo's, and the taste is alright. So if you are on a budget yet craving for seafood, why not try this restaurant?

I was quite frustrated that my cousins took two mantous each, and I have to share one tiny piece with my babysister and mummy. My daddy didn't even get any! :3 Good jobs arhs guys, didn't share with me! But nevermind, I will let this matter go because I'm kind-hearted. ROFL. Alright, this summed up one day of my holiday. LOL! Ohshit, I need to workout soon. Bangwall. x.x

But I'm only human,
And I bleed when I fall down.
I'm only human,
And I crash and I break down.
Your words in my head, knives in my heart.
You build me up and then I fall apart.
Because I'm only human.
