There's nothing I would do than to wake up next to you.

During these few days of the holidays, I found a good hangout place. (:

The Star Vista!

Located at the Buona Vista MRT, this shopping centre hosts many delicious restaurants. LOL, that's the best thing. It is totally a food paradise to me! Woots!~

There is also a performing theatre for us to watch plays (of course, it looks very grand and I figured the ticket pricing will be very expensive, but I didn't went to check :3), but I am very interested in their plays. Hahahas, currently they are advertising for this 'Lord of the Rings' play where the strings orchestra will play the soundtracks while the movie screens in the background. It is damn cool, omfg! ~!@#$%%&&*()_

(My lunch)

So I started my food journey with this Japanese restaurant here for lunch. I forgot the name, but it starts with the letter B. LOL! (: Their posters and everything attracts me a lot and their food just looks so yummy!

(Appetizer)

The appetizer (I forgot the name again) that my whole family shared. LOLOL!~ There is cabbage (I think, I'm bad at recognizing vegetables) under the egg, and mayonnaise and brown sauce covering the egg. Hahahahas! It is some sort of a pancake. This is seriously good stuff, /thumbs up/

(My sister's)

Hmm, my babysis ordered a combo, comprising of a bowl of ramen and a small plate of garlic rice. The ramen was so-so, but quite filling. I'd prefer Ajisen ramen though. Hahahas! (: However, the garlic rice smells and tastes heavenly, I swear :D I wanted to order the seafood garlic rice initially, but since my daddy also wanted that, I decided to try new stuff...

And I ordered
(Seafood Okos)

Hahahas, my lunch! (: The design of the mayonnaise on my pancake is super intricate that I didn't bear to eat it. Hahahahas! Okayys, this amount of mayonnaise is fattening. But I like it. As the name suggested, there is seafood in it. The prawns and sotongs are very juicy, very nice. Hahahahas! (:

(Daddy's garlic rice)

I tried the garlic rice, and I think it is perfect. This set comes with a bowl of salad and miso soup. Hahahas! (: The miso soup is a little salty, but I guessed that's how things work because so far I haven't come across any stores that serves miso soup that is suitable for my taste. Hahahahas! (:

(My mummy's teriyaki chicken)

Hahahas, this dish is the chef's recommendation. I think it is not quite worth the price, because the chicken that they gave was quite little, although the chicken was delicious. But actually it is the usual serving if you eat out in the food court. The chicken is nice, the sauce is nice, even the rice is nice! Everything looks and tastes palatable. Oishi! Hahahas! (:

We ordered a jug of lemon iced water as well, and the total bill was around $72. Hmm, given that it is a Japanese restaurant, I figured the price was fine, (: Hahahas!

After the scrumptious meal, we walked around the mall (first time there), and spotted many interesting shops, such as shops specialising in merely Japanese and Korean goodies. Stepped into the Korean store first to buy my topokki (rice cakes), some instant noodles (cheese-flavoured, omg), some crackers (they looked so different from the usual ones that we have), and lastly, the bean paste. Hahahas! :D It is quite a small store with many nice delicacies! Woots!~

Then we went into the Japanese store and bought some chocolates (my econs tutor introduced one), food sprinkles and some snacks. Omg, I think I shopped for too much food, :3

So after much exploration, my food was digested and we went for a second round of eating. Tada, this time for desserts! Marble Slab Creamery! My second time there! (My first was with Kaiyuan and poppyflower) :D

(Country Ice-Cream Waffle)

Hahahas, my ice-cream waffle with the flavours Caramel Macchiato and my favourite Rum and Raisin. No, I'm not drunk. I don't get drunk over just a mere scoop of ice-cream, unlike my poppyflower. Hahahas! (: The ice-cream was not bad!

(Chocolate Lava Cake)

And I decided to try their lava cake, (: God-damn delicious. The chocolate oozing out of the cake makes my saliva drips. The ice-cream flavour that I ordered was Red Velvet Cake, which is not in my top-list of ice-cream flavours, but it is still as yummy! (Y) Check out these mouth-watering dishes over at Marble Slab Creamery alright! It is nice, and also because the part-timer there was super nice-looking. Aww, <3 Very cute, totally my style. Hahahas! :D

P.S. There will always be two sides to a coin. Although the shopping mall is ulu (which is a good thing, because I get to enjoy some peace and quietness) and houses a wide array of food outlets, but the cons is that the mall is not air-conditioned (only the shops are), and there are sunlight streaming in in certain parts of the restaurants (those seats that are outside the restaurants), so yups. That's bad!

After my dessert tea-time, we quickly made our way to Pioneer Seafood Restaurant located at the Tuas, Jurong area. I didn't manage to shoot any pictures of the food, because I'm not close to my relatives and I guessed it will be a little awkward. LOL! :D

Anyways, a rough idea of what is served. (: Firstly, we have this appetizer, that is a seafood platter. The kind of seafood dishes that I have never seen before, which is superb! I enjoy trying out new dishes. Hahahas, (: They have this french fries looking food (which turns out to be fish, fortunately I decided to try one mouth of this french fries; y'all know I hate french fries LOL) Okayys, I cannot remember the other four dishes on this platter LOLOL!~

The second dish served was braised shark fin with crabmeat and maw. Omo, this is great as well. (: Long time since I had shark fin, although I wa washed with guilt as we are putting the fish in danger. But still, I love this dish! <3 Next up, we had steamed red grouper with pioneer nonya assam sauce. This is heavenly daebak. The fish was very fresh, and the sauce was damn nice (: Goes well with rice (just tat we didn't order rice, LOL)

Fourthly, the prawn fillet with macadamia nuts in orange sauce. Wtf? I haven't really seen a restaurant selling prawns in orange sauce. A very fascinating dish and the whole thing looks very palatable to me. Hahahas!~ The taste was just as mouth-watering as it looks. Omo! /thumbs up/

Next, wok-fried chopped yam with scallops and fresh mushrooms. This is the usual dish that we have in the usual restaurants. This one they served was not bad as well. (: Then we had 'Dang-Gui' Herbal Duck, hahahas! I'm not a fan of duck, so I'm not really going to comment, but my babysister says that it was not bad, the meat was tender yet juicy, but the herbal taste was quite strong. Hahahas! Hey, herbs are great for health okayys! :D ROFL!

Seafood rice with XO sauce, this one is not bad also. At least, I think this dish was better than the one they have in Jumbo. ^^ Lastly, for desserts, mango sago with pomelo. The mango sago was not the best that I had tasted, though the mango was sweet, but the juice was not as thick, so yups. But this is much better than TungLok's desserts! LOL!

Not to forget, we ordered 3 chilli crabs. Hahahas! (: The sauce was spicy enough, and the meat was fresh. I would say, Jumbo's better. But these chilli crabs are worth their price. They are much cheaper than Jumbo's, and the taste is alright. So if you are on a budget yet craving for seafood, why not try this restaurant?

I was quite frustrated that my cousins took two mantous each, and I have to share one tiny piece with my babysister and mummy. My daddy didn't even get any! :3 Good jobs arhs guys, didn't share with me! But nevermind, I will let this matter go because I'm kind-hearted. ROFL. Alright, this summed up one day of my holiday. LOL! Ohshit, I need to workout soon. Bangwall. x.x

But I'm only human,
And I bleed when I fall down.
I'm only human,
And I crash and I break down.
Your words in my head, knives in my heart.
You build me up and then I fall apart.
Because I'm only human.

All the water can't sink a ship unless it gets inside.

#latepost #throwback

Went for a Chinese buffet over at 同乐餐馆 (TungLok Restaurant) at Jurong area sometime ago. I'm not sure where exactly is it. Hahahas! (: My first Chinese buffet (Dim Sum) ever, (Y) It was quite packed when we reached there. How fortunate that we had booked beforehand to avoid the crowd. :D

(Tada, the name of the restaurant)

(Dried crispy fish skin and a Jellyfish dish)

I think it is Jellyfish, or is it Cuttlefish? LOLOL! :D That's our appetisers. Hahahas, this is a a-la-carte buffet, where you order dishes from the menu, and the waiters and waitresses will serve them to your table directly. Hahahas! I feel like a Princess for a day!

(Many more dishes)

Hahahas, California maki is not under Dim Sum, but yeahs. Don't ask me why is it included in this Dim Sum buffet. LOL! (: More dishes like porridge and pig trotters, omg. What a scrumptious meal!

(Woohoo, buns!)

Hahahas, we have meat buns (direct translation) and custard buns, and scallops and the all-time favourite red bean paste pancakes. LOL! <3 Much loves.

(Dumplings and Chee Cheong Fun)

Hahahas, this is the real deal. What is the school's Chee Cheong Fun when you can have these bigger and nicer ones? Hahahas! (: Speaking about my school, I was still infuriated by the fact that my school's 'Quick Bites' canteen stall served me and babypoop expired cup noodles. Although they refunded us, but I think it was immoral of them. Hahahas, please do not be so careless in the future! It was fortunate that we didn't suffered from diarrhea or whatsoever. Tsktsk! :3

(Ee-fu noodles!)

I have to admit that my school's taste nicer. Hahahas! (: Yet at the same time, this is less oily as compared to my school. >.< ROFL, I realised my daddy loves to eat this tooos. He kept 'throwing tandrums' because initially my mummy didn't want to order this. Hahahas! :D

(Lovely desserts)

Mango sago puddings, vanilla ice cream, douhua and herbal jelly. Limited desserts, and not that nice. Sighpies, way below my expectations. In my view, the desserts served in any restaurants have the highest say. (Psh, because I'm a desserts fanatic). Therefore, I wouldn't give a high rating for this restaurant. LOL! (: Oops, sorry.

Your eyes, they shine so bright
I wanna save that light
I can't escape this now
Unless you show me how

If you plant seeds of happiness, flowers of happiness will bloom.

(Ripped from twosistersoneblog.com)

"If you plant seeds of happiness, flowers of happiness will bloom."
-Kazushi Okamoto

We say that we want to happy.

If that's what we really wanted, we should start planting seeds of happiness. What kind of flowers we want to get depends on what kind of seeds we use to plant them. Similarly, what kind of happiness we want depends on what kind of actions we take to achieve it.

Yes, there may be times when we feel dejected and downhearted, thinking that there is nothing that we can do to salvage the damage, but hoping for somebody nice who could save us from it. However, by doing so, we are just planting flowers of unhappiness.

Instead of dwelling in the past unhappy incidents, let's just embrace the history and welcome the future with open arms. Be happy, smile always. Be optimistic and think positively. Life is full of wonders. There will always be a rainbow at the end.

Whether to harvest flowers of happiness or unhappiness is up to us to choose. Our fate is in our hands.

(Maleficent!)

So I decided to plant a seed of happiness today, and went to catch a movie with my lovelies (babypoop, weina, moehan and yangfan) :D Yups, Maleficent!

Today was a great day, because Maleficent is nice. But I cannot stand myself at times. I mean, who will cry because of a Disney production T.T Disney movies are supposed to be nice and funny and everything, but I was so freaking touched by the story plot, that
I. Actually. Cried.
I really salute myself. LOL! (:

So in short, a great day with great company. YAY to happiness!
Though I was actually feeling a little blue because they cancelled our trip to Sentosa. :3 But nevermind, it is still a good day to spend time with our loved ones, <3

I can see your eyes staring into mine,
but it's a battlefield and I'm on the other side.
You can throw your words, sharper than a knife,
and leave me cold, in another house on fire.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

(Ripped from favim.com)

Window shopping sucks :/

Went Jurong Point last Sunday with my family, and my mummy refused to buy me ANYTHING because she claimed that my wardrobe was exploding (which I'm pretty sure it isn't).

In a relatively foul mood today until I had my afternoon's tea at Yakun's. Tried their in-store special (not sure if it is a specialty, but at least the branch located at Lot 1 didn't have it), which is some ball ball thing. This dish didn't really left me a great impression. The ratio of kaya in these balls to the flour they used to make these balls are like ~!@#$%^&*()

So yeahs, but it is okayys. At least I have my food. What is clothes when you can have food? LOLOL!! (: Food has an absolute advantage in lifting up my spirits. Econs much :/

Anyways, I had a dessert date with babypoop last Friday (last day of school) to celebrate the arrival of June Holidays! :D Woots!~ Swensen's ice-cream deal is still on, whoopee! Hahahas, after GST and service charges and whatsoever, the nett price is approximately $6.30 if I didn't remember wrongly. Hehes! For students, like us.

(Check out these lovely ice-cream dishes!)

Hehes! (: Sinful temptations.
Shit. I should restraint myself. Like seriously. :/ However, I still feel
Marble Slab / Gelato etc. > Swensens

Hahahas, Swensens only uses common flavours, such as vanilla and strawberry and chocolate, which I find there is no specialty to it. Maybe the dry ice from babypoop's ice-cream will entice me, but that's about it. Hahahas! (: && since the estimation of prices of the ice-cream from the above listed stores are similar... I'm sure you get my drift. (:

一段情, 兩顆心,三個字,是我愛你。
無聊時就溜出去, 期待每天在一起。
巴不得粘著你, 就這樣的不分離。
十全十美的愛情,從一到十等於我和你。

Let your dreams be bigger than your fears.

(Pizzahut!)

I had to. I just had to eat this again. It was calling for me.

Hahahas, check out the X-men pizza over at Pizzahut! (: It was simply, genuinely delicious! That's my second time eating this, and I still like it. I love the cheesy part. Sorry, I'm a fan for cheese. Hahahas! (: Anyways, great catch-up session with bestie Huiqi! I think it had almost been two months plus since I last saw her. Hehes.

That girl was having her MYCTs, yet she still decided to meet up for dinner. Thanks babes! (: Me > MYCTs? Hahahas! I am honoured! I love you truckloads! <3 No more exams for you, but still study hard during the holidays alright! Hehes!

Went for AJ's College Day last Saturday, with Kaiyuan, Yanlin, Hongwei, Moehan, Aonan, Yangfan, Matien, Wenshun and Yulian. Hahahas, I believed that it was a waste of time (4hours, excluding travelling time, considering that I live so far away from school x.x). I mean, what can I benefit from sitting there and clapping for the prize recipients. And no, I don't feel motivated seeing them receive their prizes. Hahahas!

But yeahs, still congratulations to dearest XuanPo (my ex Section Leader) aka my senior for receiving the CCA excellence award! (; Yep, I do agree that you are a great section leader. Hehes! Very caring towards us juniors. Woohoo!~ It was great to see so many of my fellow CO mates during the College Day, as audience I mean. LOL! (: We are all whatsapping during the whole ceremony, and gossiping about teachers like Wendy Ng. Oops, sorry. Hahahas!

Special thanks to my dearest PD Tutor, MsYeo, for treating us Pizzahut. Finally get to satisfy my cravings for Lasagne (because my school's is freaking unpalatable) The meal was worth $150, which she wouldn't let us pay for our own meals. Despite us wanting to pay at least one-third of the total costs, she still wouldn't let. x.x Thanks MsYeo for your kindness! I will work harder and repay you with better Chemistry grades! -I hope- Hahahas!

Anyways, I have been eating too much pizzas nowadays. I ate a personal pan pizza for dinner last week, and ate another one again few days before. Sighpies. I'm getting fat. Seriously. Control please, yanqi, control. :/

All that I need is this moment,
to send me away with a smile on my face.
I tried, but I turned back,
on my heart remains a trace.

You say good morning when it's midnight.

(My new-found love)

Hahahas, I think this soya milk drink is super nice. Another reason why I like this drink is because of its glass packaging. Hahahas, I thought it was rare to find drinks in glass bottles nowadays. LOL! :D Okayys, sorry I'm just feeling super random. (:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So today I will be blogging about my past ice-cream dates with my family and friends. Don't drool, hahahas! :D I love ice-cream, and cakes, and muffins and everything. Generally, I just like desserts. Hahahas!

(Creamier!)

Hahahas, ice-cream date with le babysister at Creamier, a newly opened ice cream shop in Braddell. It was just a stone's throw away from my primary school. Hahahas! (: Typing this just reminded me of my childhood. What wonderful memories of my primary school days; I missed being chased around by this weirdo guy, Jonathan, and my girlfriends, especially Bizhen and Siyun, trying to help me escape from him. Hahahas, I'm friends with that guy now actually. We are still on talking terms, (: Six years had passed, I guessed we are all mature now.

My new favourite ice cream is Earl Grey Lavendar! (: What an exotic flavour, hahahas. It was very delicious, and the after-taste that lingers in your mouth makes me craves for more. The ice cream smelt nice, (I thought ice cream not suppose to have smell one, LOL), it smelt of lavendar. Hahahas!

Tried their Hockey Pockey and Orange Chocolate flavours as well. The Orange Chocolate isn't that great, but the Hocky Pocky was not a bad choice. Hahahas, the shop offers ice-cream waffles and coffee drinks tooos. (Just that there aren't seats for me, and I wasn't keen on the idea of standing to eat an ice-cream waffle, so I just settled on ice-cream cups). Hahahas, I think it is worth a visit. LOL! :D The customer service was great tooos.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Gelato Italia)

Virgin experience for this ice-cream waffle with my babypoop after the Basketball finals last Monday. Hahahas! (: I went to the Lot 1 branch. We ordered Strawberry Cheesecake and my favourite Rum and Raisins flavours. I was quite shocked that babypoop actually love the Rum and Raisins flavour, because nobody else that I know except my bestie Huiqi likes it. (:

P.S. This Huiqi is my bestie, she is in NJC. I'm not talking about the AJ's one. Omg. LOLOL!! (: 先把话说在前提.

P.P.S. This waffle is $10, I think it is not bad. Hahahas! (: The cafe was clean and there isn't any queues, a good place for people to chill out with their friends.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Handmade "ice-cream cake")

Hahahas! This is a super late post. My birthday cake handmade with love by le babysis! <3 To be honest, I had never tried ice-cream cakes before because they are quite expensive. T.T Yeahs, so this year, my sweet sister decided to make this cake for me. It is quite easy to make, and the taste is not bad. Hahahas! Thankyou girl! <3 Love you a zillion!

To end off, I think eating is a luxury. I love desserts, and cakes and ice cream and everything. Ohno, I'm getting fat. Time to hit the treadmill! Not. I'm not hardworking. Hahahas! (: I should maintain! :/

They say it's what you make,
I say it's up to fate.
It's woven in my soul,
I need to let you go.

You make forever seems short.

(Ripped from lilyloveslola.blogspot.com)

Stress is a shape-shifting, ever-present monster, especially in today's fast-paced world. It is a monster that many battled. Some managed to slay this beast after much efforts, whilst others are swallowed entirely by it. Yet most of us actually stayed in the battle rink, neither winning or losing the battle, but running frantically away from the monster. However, unfortunately, this terrifying monster, will always stay with us for the rest of our lives.

To me, stress is like a tsunami, rushing at me all at once, drowning me before I could even find a lifeboat. Stress is like a thick fog, gushing around me suddenly, choking me before I could even find a mask. Stress is like a earthquake, spinning my world in a split second, falling on me before I could even find a route to escape.

I know my imagery sounds a little weird. However, that is exactly how I felt. Stress is like a disastrous catastrophe to me.

It cannot be eliminated, it can only be alleviated. Through taking up a stress-relieving hobby, through the encouragements from your family, friends and teachers, but most importantly, it is through the faith and belief that you have on yourself.

Fight your demons, don't give up till the end. 5 more months till freedom!

Loving him is like driving a new Maserati,
down a dead end street, faster than the wind,
passionate as sin, ending so suddenly.
Loving him is like trying to change your mind,
Once you're already flying through the free fall.
Like the colours in autumn, so bright before they lose it all.
