I'm not a mind reader baby, speak up.

Our Changi Airport Terminal 4 has finally finished all construction works! :D Two months back, they were having an Open House for the terminal, so guess which auntie joined the queue to check out the terminal!

Yup, you need to register for tickets to go. But no worries, it's free! It just determines your time slots to head down. You don't want a congestion rights! (:

(Magnificent display)

This artwork is called the Petalclouds, and it is a grand-scale kinetic structure. How do I know? Because there was a quiz, and you have to complete at various stations to redeem vouchers/gifts at the end! Hahaha, but the vouchers a bit useless because you can only use it at the airport itself?!

(Cleaning Machines)

I thought these gigantic cleaning machines were very fascinating. LOL, they are damn cute?! And behind them, there some cashless vending machines wth. You can buy your beverages or snacks using Ezlink card, which is quite cool but also quite inconvenient because they do not allow us to pay in cash/coins. What about people (e.g. Tourists) who have yet gotten a card???

(Immersive wall)

We just sit there on some benches watching the LED display. The display showcases Singapore's skyline and they were really superb! This art aims to entertain passengers waiting at the security screening queues, but I thought there wasn't a need for that because the new technology employed for the security screening is really fast and seamless.

(Snowflakes/flowers display)

Wasn't able to walk through the display because they were still renovating. But the structure looks magnificent and elegant LOLOL, damn pretty! We tried going up the escalator to the second level to get a bird eye's view, but were stopped by the police officer. Zzz. Unfortunately, the other floors were out of bounds to everyone. T.T

(Peranakan shophouses)

I thought it was a good mix of technology and heritage in the new airport terminal. For the other terminals, the concept was mostly focused on futuristic, so I guess by bringing back heritage, it is a timely reminder for all of us to remember who we are and celebrate the diversity of Singaporeans.

The shophouses showed various traditional brands (老字号) such as Bee Cheng Hiang and Bengawan Solo. The design really invokes a sense of nostalgia in all of us.

Every fifteen minutes or so, there will be a short film that will start playing on the Peranakan shophouses display. Some technology cool shit there LOL. It was a love story about two people from different races, and were acted out by various Singaporean artistes such as Adrian Pang. I feel that this is really a good representation of Singapore and its Peranakan heritage and multi-ethnicity!

(Trees in the airport)

It was such a cosy corner to just sit down and rest because we were all so tired from walking around. Did I mention that the terminal is damn huge. T.T We got two plush toys in the end because we won some mystery gifts LOLOL. And we each walked away with a travel pouch because we signed up for Changi membership. I love freebies!!

Overall, it was a good experience at Terminal 4 and I cannot wait to start taking flights from there! Korean Airline is shifting over there at the end of October, hmmm...

(White beehoon)

Since we were at the vicinity, we decided to headed to Changi Village for dinner. White beehoon, here I come! There's plenty of fish slices for $6! Pretty worth it (:

Got my favourite goreng pisang also, damn delicious luh. The banana will melt in your mouth. That's probably the only fried thing that I like. Last week, my tutee's mother fried banana for me also but it's not that nice compared to Changi Village's! I think cause she used less oil LOLOL. Okay luh, healthier choice.

A lot of problems in the
world would disappear
if we talked to each other
instead of about each other
