She checks my vital signs, then opens up my wounds.

Would be lying if I said I wasn't affected. However, it was not the outcome that affects me the most, but rather, it is being kept in the dark.

Whether deliberate a not, I just felt hurt because the action just made me feel like I am not worth telling.

And no matter whether there were any preventive/corrective actions taken, the damage was already there.

I don't think I am selfish. The problem no longer stops there, it just leads to a bigger problem of trust and being genuine.

It just strikes me that all these while, the way which I have been reading this particular book was wrong. Rather than just reading it throughly word for word, it is also important to read between the lines.

Maybe the book is just too difficult for my grasp.

Ohwell, at least from this, I have learnt to write a better story for myself.

And we made the moon our mirrorball
The streets, an empty stage.
The city sirens violins

Everything has changed.
So lift off love.

There are far better things ahead than what we leave behind.

Yay! It was finally the end of yet another intense week. My brain was fried after 5 hours of lessons straight today. Sighs, it was already end of Week 9, and this means there is still 4 more weeks before school is officially out, and 6 more weeks before exams are over. Time really passed damn fast omg?! I am not prepared for all the presentations, projects and exams and whatnot. Omg.

Anyways, my laptop decided to crash on me yesterday. It was totally in a ruined state now. Sighs. I was already feeling overwhelmed with the recent happenings, why did my laptop add on to my troubles as well?!

Sometimes I question myself, how to be happy. But I guess I haven't gotten my answer yet.

Throwback to my Sungei Buloh trip with the family during the summer break. I've been too cooped up in school, and I really miss the nature. Hmm... Did they renovate? There is this new part of Sungei Buloh which I have never been before. >.<

(No access to the bridge, if not I will be in the foreground rather than the person behind the camera)

(I like this kind of path because my shoes won't get dirty hahaha!)

(Greens)

(What's Sungei Buloh without mangroves rights!)

(That weird-looking shape)

(My daddy actually suggested to picnic here, but I think we will instead be road obstruction)

The area is very windy, I reckon that's because we are near the waters. *attempts to explain some geography terms about the sea and the wind but I cannot remember anything I am so sorry to my teacher who taught me well* But thankfully, the day wasn't sunny. /breathe/ It was a beautiful day!

(Gain City Megastore @ Sungei Kadut)

They really serve tasty lunch at affordable prices. But the main thing that attracts us to head over for lunch was because, the parking is free. LOLOL!

Pain hurts.
It cannot leave you if you cannot feel it.
Let it hurt. Let it stir your core.
Let it leave.

Two lovers kissing amongst the scream of midnight, two lovers missing the tranquility of solitude.

Haven't been active on this space recently, because I was rushing some assignment, but I was so glad that I finished it two days before the deadline. I already had everything printed and it was sitting nicely in my file waiting for submission. That sense of achievement because it was a tough assignment to complete. :DDD

It was a tedious assignment because I had to contact people/bigshots/strangers to interview for my news article. This entire assignment had me feeling vexed since 3 weeks ago and I am always on the verge of breaking down, because the people are not replying to my emails / I was rejected / I was scolded as well. Nonetheless, it was a good learning experience for me. I feel that I have become more shameless (I even pester people and it made me feel bad, but I had no choice, y'know LOL).

The assignment also called for me to do up an infographics, but I have absolutely no idea how to do it (not taught in lessons, and I have no flair for design as well). Thanks Jiazi for some guidance, even though I rely heavily on the Internet to look for ideas.

But yay, I can finally heaved a sigh of relief. Just hoping that my tutor can see the amount of effort I put in, and give me a good grade okay. Hahahahas! :D I trust you, tutor.

Throwback to Paradise Dynasty dinner with the family a few weeks ago! The bill amounted to $90, wth we are such big eaters. (Actually the GST/Service Charge is the main contributor, not that we ordered a lot of dishes LOL!).

(红油抄手)

Gone were the delicious 麻辣 taste because this was no longer spicy. T.T Sighs, bring me back to Taiwan please. I need to get my dumplings fix soon.

(Xiao Long Baos)

The highlight of the day was definitely these cute little things in the basket. We ordered 20 in total, so I get 5 all to myself. Hehehes! :D They are just so delicious!

(Shanghai Fried Rice)

We decided to try this because we did not order before. But it tasted like this without the soy sauce:

(Yangzhou Fried Rice)

Bangwall. So why did we order two plates of fried rice that taste the same. T.T

(炸酱面)

We ordered this to share as well!

(Red bean pancake)

I really, really love these a lot. It sucks because Paradise Dynasty is probably the only place where they sell red bean pancakes. So whenever I have cravings for it, I've got to come here. Take my money. Take all my money!

A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset.
When you wake up, take a second to think about
what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy.
The moment you start acting like life's a blessing
I assure you it will start to feel like one.

Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its strength.

Sighs. Today is a freaking, freaking bad day.

I overslept and was pretty late for my lessons. I blame it on the weather because it was raining heavily and it felt really nice to be able to sleep in.

Then as I was rushing for lessons, I slipped and fell on my knees. It was super embarrassing, because there were many students behind me. Arghs. Thankfully I didn't scrap my knees or anything because the floor was quite smooth (precisely why I fell). I only got a blueblack.

After all the lessons for the day, I wanted to find a table to do my interview over the phone. T.T I went to my usual study table and freak, the area was under construction and all the tables were being removed. Wth.

Panicking, I combed the entire Arts block and finally found a table along the CLB walkway that has a plug (my laptop totally cannot be on until I charge it). Then poof, the plug doesn't work. My laptop was still unable to charge. Sighs. Didn't bother checking the library because I need to talk on the phone and I doubt the library is that conducive for this.

Hopped onto the bus to go YIH. And geeez, I cannot find a proper table with plug outside as well. Didn't want to go in the study room to disturb everyone cause it was way too quiet. I even went food court and found a plug but it was malfunctioning. Arghs. Hey, the food court was under renovation as well.

Complained to Amanda, and she asked me to head to Science. I went to all the buildings and all the floors to find a table with plug but arghs, all the tables I found are either occupied or no plugs or with malfunction plugs. (I don't think the problem lies with my charger/laptop because they are working fine yestersay when I charged my laptop in school)!

I am really pissed off. What the hell manzxc. I just need to occupy a table to charge my laptop for around 45minutes then I will be done with school.

Why is everyone studying on a Friday sighs.? Why is the school renovating during a school term and posing so much distraction? Why are the plugs malfunctioning?!?! Why is the wifi so lousy that I cannot even connect half the time?

I am on my way home now. After 1h of futile efforts trying to find a goddamn table, I realised I would have reached home if I went home straight.

Fml.

Things we lost to the flames,
things we'll never see soon.
All that we've amassed sits before us,
shattered into ash.

All those mistakes, we burned them.

(Ripped from Tumblr)

Insane week.

Could really feel all the stress kicking in with all the deadlines and tutorials and everything. What made me feel worse was that during a particular tutorial today, my tutor raised her voice and scolded me and my groupmate for not putting in effort for our tutorial work. Ahh, we did answer all the questions that were posed to us in the turorial worksheet T.T And we spent an hour working on that short set of answers. Omg. Where got never put in effort?!

Sighs. This sure is a small thing, but it still affect me a great deal. I hate it when the efforts put in go unrecognised. T.T I hate it that people only judge something or someone based on the end product and not the process.

This is life.

Celebrate us when we're gone.
And forget what we did wrong.
All the memories, all the songs,
All the times we fell in love.

You say that love makes you nervous. I say I feel the same.

(Ripped from Tumblr)

Thanks B for the day.

Thanks for cheering me up with your stupid bullshit when I am feeling overwhelmed about school work. Thanks for stressing me up with your stupid brainteasers when I'm already very stressed up at work. Thanks for helping me, thinking of various ways to solve my problems, but most importantly, for standing by and encouraging me.

Thanks for having dinner with me. Thanks for treating me ice-cream waffles. Thanks for accompanying me to go to the rooftop garden without trees to see the imaginary stars. It is my favourite place.

Thank you.

Waiting down at the end of the corridor,
Don't know this place but I swear I've been here before.
The shadows dance with the pictures that hang up on the walls.
I hear them laughing as I wander the halls.

Tell me the story about how the sun loved the moon so much he died every night to let her breathe.

Hiatus for a week because it has been a real busy week. I have been busy studying for my midterm and staring at schools for SEP application at the same time. Sighs. Tiring. Why can't they make the process easier. Arghs, SEP application is a freaking burden. Can't wait for school to be over in a few weeks time!

On a side note, my professor and tutor need to learn how to be more efficient in marking our test scripts/assignments and quickly return them to us. Tsktsk.

Anyways, these are the remains of my recess week:

Finally got the chance to head to The Missing Pan cafe, but LOL the food they serve do not really suit my tastebuds. Geeez. And I'm not sure about the flow of customers, but I reached there around 8pm and there wasn't many people around, so the waitress was quite free (ie. keep using phone instead of attending to customers).

(Eggs Benedict)

I was really looking forward to this because it has been eons since I last ate Eggs Benedict, but ahhh it left me feeling disappointed. Sighs. There is this faint wasabi taste and some veggie puree which they spread on the egg. I dislike wasabi sighs. The entire dish just taste weird, even JJ thinks so. Give me my hollandaise sauce!

(Carbonara)

This tasted pretty decent though. It is quite rich and flavourful. And the colour of the dish is also beautiful!

(Green Tea Latte)

My all-time-favourite drink in cafes! I absolutely love green tea lattes! Mediocre latte art, but it is alright. :D

It is located at some ulu district in Bukit Timah but accessible by MRT, but I doubt I will return again because the Egg Benedict is really a disappointment. And yup, the bill came up to ~$56. Money fly away again.

~

Dedicated a day for Career Catalyst since they say it is a compulsory module for internship. Although I haven't manage to secure one yet, this kind of thing, just go first hahahas!

The front part was quite useless, where we learn more about ourselves and interests. The behind part was more useful whereby we learn more about interview techniques and err tips on networking. But sighs, the workshop is held from 9am to 5pm, so my entire day was practically wasted. Sighs.

~

And then, Mad for Garlic with Huiqi. It is quite worth it because Huiqi has a voucher. Yazzzz! :DD

(Snowing Pizza)

Though the toppings are quite simple (namely garlic, shrimps, hotdogs and cheese), it is quite addictive somehow. The crust is thin yet crispy. It is still better to share the pizza with someone else because you might get sick of it after a few slices.

(Lobster Cream Pasta)

I think I tasted lobster in it, and the fish roe. This pasta also quite worth it!

Useful voucher because we only ended up paying $15 each, which is quite reasonable consideeing that it is a classy restaurant located at Suntec City. 赚到了! Will go back again soon, once I find someone. HAHAHA!

And now let's get to reality. Back to our books to study.

Flames, they licked the wall, tenderly.
They turned to dust all that I adore.
