You're my end and my beginning.

TOMI SUSHI

Yummy sushi place over at Novena with my family and relatives to celebrate a special day - my granddad's birthday! :D A very expensive meal, but no doubt, a delicious one. Hahahas! It was totally an eye-opener for me because I didn't know sushi can be so ... expensive :/

(Squid)

Their squid is really one-of-a-kind! I expected the dish to be dry and fishy as there are no sauce available, but the lemon made the whole dish seemed fresh. It was a pretty amazing dish and I gobbled it up within seconds. Hahahas! :D

(Salmon loves)

This plate I think costs like $27? Somewhere there, I cannot remember the prices already. Feel free to check out the menu: just google Tomi sushi menu. Hahahahas! :D Fresh salmon, but yeahs, it is really on the expensive side >.<

(Set meal)

Sushi, sushi and more sushi. :D

(Avocado Salad)

Some avocado salad that tasted quite nice surprisingly. :D

(Tuna)

This place is well-know for its tuna products. :D 我真有口福!

(Everyone's favourite Wagyu Beef)

My first time having wagyu beef, and I finally understood why everyone will go gaga over it. Hahahas! It was tender and juicy, it was that nice!

(Egg sushi)

I love the patterns on the eggs. I wonder how they stamp it there. It was so creative?! I don't see other restaurants offering it. Hahahas! :D

(Happy Birthday to my lovely granddad!)

(Fruit Paradise)

Went back to my usual Prima Deli store to grab a cake for my granddad. I love fruit cakes! :DDD I was very full that day. A fun-filled day full of smiles and laughters. Thank for allowing me to feel the warmth of a family. Cheers!

(Starbucks)

And since there is a buy 2 get 1 free promotion that time, my mummy decided to treat le babysis and I to Starbucks. Woots!~ :D One Toffee Nut Latte and two Cookie Frap. I personally prefer the Cookie Frap, hahahas! :D This is a throwback post, so here I am once again craving for Starbucks now ._____. /hints hints/ Hahahahas!

You're my downfall, you're my muse.
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues.
I can't stop singing, it's ringing, in my head for you.

We don't remember days, we remember moments.

Went Jurong East area with my dear family a few weeks ago because I just want to get out of the boring house. :D The usual: lunch > shop > tea > shop > home.

Lunch @ Hot Tomato

(Soup for Appetiser)

(My Salmon)

(Mei's Chicken Chop)

(Mummy's Steak)

I realised the damn steak was too chewy and my stupid burden braces restricted me from biting it properly, and so I made an exchange with my mummy. Hahahahas! :D The food still look good and taste good nonetheless.

Then we ventured down to Big Box, a newly opened warehouse mall. The mall looks kind of old, quite different from Westgate / JEM / JCube, but I guess warehouses are supposed to look like that. Hahahas! The mall is publicized as a warehouse that sell goods at wholesale prices, but I still think it is not cheap?! Some furniture do caught my eyes though. :D

(Room Blue: Dining Room)

(Room Blue: Living Room)

(Room Pink: Dining Room)

(Room Pink: Living Room)

(Room Pink: Living Room)

Wah, these two rooms are totally my style. Omg, damn pretty I cannot! But their prices are very pretty also .____. Sighpie. Spent an hour or so window shopping for furniture (I actually had plans to buy sofas, but they are either too expensive or do not fit my house) x.x

(Durian Ice Cream)

So we had durian ice cream that tasted heavenly, and one box of sushi for tea because we are just too hungry. Hahahas! But that's not all to it. We had chicken wings and duck rice as well in their similar-to-IKEA-style house restaurant. :/

(Chicken Wings w/ Duck Rice)

Went home for dinner because I felt that we spent too much on food that day -.- I guess I'm never stepping in Big Box again unless I want to buy food items from their gigantic NTUC-like shop. In conclusion, Big Box is not a place for teens. Hahahas! :D More for couples and families.

Pictures in my pocket
are faded from the washer.
I can barely just make out your face.
Food you saved for later,
in my refrigerator.
It's been too long since later never came.

Cards on the table, we're both showing hearts.

Recently, I went on a little cafe-hopping craze with the lovely. Finally! (: One tick off my bucket list. Hahahahas!

One week ago, SMU held various university prep talks. So here we are! (: P.S. Not used to hearing lectures now, and I once again experienced the sleepiness I often had during lectures...

(With my bae @ SMU)

Hahahahas, met Hongwei and saw many other AJCians whom I don't know around. Had buffets after every lecture session. #goodlife

And then we embarked on our little cafe-hopping journey. :D P.S. It is not wise to go out with Seah alone because she isn't of any help. :P Hahahahas! Used GPS to locate our first stop.

First stop: Stateland Cafe @ Bali Lane, Bugis

(Toffee Nut Latte)

Read reviews which say that their lemonades are their specialities, and their coffee are just so-so. But when we got there, we were informed that lemonades were out-of-stock T.T  The waiteress recommended toffee nut latte, which I thought was yeahs so-so. Hahahahas.

(Red Velvet Waffles)

And this is the highlight of the meal. (: Their waffles are really daebak. And they served with cheese and ice cream as well. Hehehes! (:

(Truffled Alfredo)

Photo credits to Seah. Their pasta is also so-so also. Nothing special, but palatable. (: I was seated on the second floor, where the aircon wasn't strong enough and the music can't be heard. Blehs.

Second stop: PARK @ Holland Village

Met up earlier with bae for lunch before tea with clique. Spent the entire night doing my research on which cafe to go and finally found this. :D

(Eggs Benedict)

Wah their Eggs Ben is really fantastic. Hahahahas! I like the gooey egg, the tasty mushrooms, the potato wedges and bacon strips. :D #happykid96 I'm in heaven!

(Iced Latte)

Iced latte is a little bitter. Hahahahas, or maybe it is just us since we aren't coffee lovers. LOLOL! (:

(Truffled Mac & Cheese)

Truffled mac & cheese is quite filling because of the cheese. Hahahahas! (: The top is like erms baked cheese, the bottom is like melted fluid cheese. I guess my description is weird. LOLOL! I think it is not bad luh. Hahahahahas.

(Selfie with food!)

Yup great day with the bae. :DDD

Third stop: Sunday Folks @ Holland Village

(Foooooood!)

So we had Pearl of the Orient tea, Matcha Cake, Yuzu Fizz, and waffles! :D

I honestly think their yuzu fizz is very disgusting. My own preference arhs. And the matcha cake is like erms okay lorhs. Not taste-catching enough. But their waffles are daebak. :D We finished two plates of it within seconds. Gluttons much. Hahahahahas! (:

(Group photo)

I don't know why the picture looks disgusting. Hahahahas, and Eve dyed her hair. I want too! Hahahahas! :D

Cafe-hopping shall stop for a moment because I'm seriously too broke. One more week to pay day! :P Hahahahahas!

Today's little moments, become tomorrow's precious moments.

Met up with the lady Huiqi last Wednesday for a date at Nex. Nex. Omg, that's super far. I wouldn't have agreed to it but since Huiqi had visited me at West area twice already, I will be the good guy this time. Hahahahas! (: Besides, it has been a long time since I last visited Nex and wow, most of the shops were replaced by many new shops! :O

(Pizzahut Chicken Steak)

Hahahas, wanted to try other new brands (ie. Monster Curry) that Vian said it was super nice (and also because I don't see it anywhere in Singapore lmao), but Huiqi insisted that it was not nice at all and we went Pizzahut in the end. T.T

But yeahs, considering that they are having a one-for-one promotion, I got it at a great deal. Like $8 for plate of chicken steak in Pizzahut. Whut. However, that set meal just pushed the price higher, complete with GST and service charge, I think a hole just appeared in my pocket.

(Baskin Robbins)

And since Wednesdays are pink day, we are back at Baskin Robbins. 2 scoops for the price of $5. Hahahahas! (: Learnt the hard way, only order chocolate flavours from Baskin Robbins. Their exotic-and-looks-super-interesting flavours just suck.

Met Vian by surprise at Nex tooos, who kukushit borrowed my phone (my cover is pink) to get the discount for Baskin Robbins. Hahahahas! Do I laugh very loud? She said my laughters sort of resonated the entire atrium, and I was like ._.

Thanks for spending time with me. :D Thanks for the 7th year of friendship.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Last last Thursday with Vivian.

Seoul Yummy is so yummy! (Get the pun?) Hahahahas, it was on a rather expensive side. The food's great, but I think not yet worth the price. Hahahas. We paid $60 (2 pax) for this meal. :/

(Army stew)

Great that I asked for less spicy, and I was able to eat well. (: The bad thing about braces: no more rice cakes in the future because they can stick to the braces T.T /cries/ Hahahas, I was craving for hotdogs so I got most of it, whilst Vian finished all the rice cakes.

(Some bingsoo)

Hahahahas, I thought it was ice cream. But it turns out to be froyo. I now declare my love for froyo. Hahahahas! (: Damn nice. But the ice area abit bland arhs, like no sauce, just plain ice, so we didn't finish it...

Went shopping for a while. But I didn't want to go home too late, as I had to work the next day. But cheers to the great dinner! :DDD Looking forward to more dates with you. Hahahahas!

They may actually be falling into place.

I'm your magical mystery ride.

One week two days ago, it was this boy's guy's birthday.

(Manda's favourite Blackforest Cake)

And we celebrated his birthday at Paradise Dynasty @ Lot 1. Thanks you guys for deciding on Lot 1, hahahas, it was the most convenient for me. Love you guys plenty. <3

(The 8 coloured xiaolongbao)

Hahahas, Manda is so gullible I cannot. Have anyone ever heard of Strawberry flavoured xiaolongbao? Hahahas, yeahs. One person here by the name of Amanda Seah. :DDD So yups, she finished that Szechuan flavoured for us. Spicy much. LOLOL! Thanks girl!

(Moe insisted on ordering Mapo Tofu)

Thank god it was not that spicy. At this level, I can still take it. Hahahas, :D Smooth tofu that I can eat with my annoying braces. Speaking about that, I got two ulcers at each side of my mouth. Talk about pain. :3

(Manda's favourite stir-fried beef)

Hahahas, I like this also. LOLOL! :D I'm just craving for meat. Any meat will do. Ever since I put on braces, images of meat always seem to appear in my mind. I can confirm that I am indeed a carnivore without any further ado. Lmao! :D

(I love this dish!)

I like how fluffy it is, and how the egg yolk won't stink in my mouth. Hahahas! :D Pssh, it is not just any egg dish. It is an egg dish with crabs. LOLOL, I can't seem to get over my love for seafood.

(黑木耳)

A little spicy, but the taste is not bad. Hahahas! :D Manda finally got some taste. LOL, oops. Weina didn't get to order any dish of her own preference due to her being late. Hahahas! :P

(We are a happy family)

Hahahas, a simple birthday celebration over a simple meal. Not pretentious, yet blissful. Thanks for a great day out, and thanks for the treat (although it is your birthday whut? ROFL). Happy Belated Birthday, Moehan! :DD

-----------------------------------------------------------

Hahahas, a birthday isn't a birthday without presents. So we met up a few days before his birthday to grab a gift for him.

(The Three Musketeers)

(Our Coffee Bean Date)

It was a great catch-up session with my two girls over a cup of chocolate-coffee-I-have-no-idea-what. I realised how much I missed them. I missed the old times when we used to spend everyday together in school. I missed lunching with them, studying with them, gossiping with them, but most importantly, our daidi sessions. Hahahahas, speaking of which, my hands are getting to get itchy. Wts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways, I finally found a time to visit this girl at her workplace. Hahahas! (: This annoying girl who kept urging me to go find her. LOLOL! P.S. You should be honoured. I travelled all the way to Esplanade, changed four MRT lines, just to find you. T.T

(The fun times in the dressing room)

She made me wear this kuku flowery dress that doesn't even fit me luh omg. I hate this! Featuring my 50 cents yellow ribbon hairband (Taiwan's loots) which my friends say it looked kiddy. Lmao! :3

(I will never buy this)

Hahahahas. Kukushit kept asking me to try some ridiculous apparels that got me insane. LOLOL, we talked too much and she kind of kena aimed by her supervisor? Hahahahas, but I'm still a customer yo. :P Although I tried on a million of clothes, but went out without buying any. Lmao.

(Selca)

(Doesnt the ribbon suit me?!)

After one hour of nonsense, we finally went to have our lunch at Astons. Whoopee! (: The service is much faster than SSC's. Hahahas!

(Yummy Astons Lunch)

(Root Beer Float)

Simple things like this do light up one's dull (working) life. (: Thanks for everything.

Baby you light up my world like nobody else.

The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed.
But when you smile at the ground it ain't hard to tell.
You don't know, oh oh, you don't know you're beautiful.
