The reason old souls enjoy spending time alone is because they never really are.

Just one more paper left. Just one more! Persevere omg. It sucks because everyone ended exams so early and they were posting their post-finals celebrations on social media and I'm just so so jealous. Sighs. Karma strikes because I ended way too early last semester LOL. T.T

(Lunch at Saizeriya)

We had Saizeriya after the intense psychology paper last Friday. Cheap option for broke students like us. LOL. But I was so angsty because I realised they stopped serving tuna mentaiko spaghetti for lunch?! That's my favourite, why they all take it down from the menu noooo... Anyways, I ate with Amanda and her friend, Eileen. Is it new friend made from psychology? Thankfully lunch wasn't too awkward. Hehehes. (:

Decided to stop by Lot 1's Old Street Bak Kut Teh for dinner just now. It was raining heavily, and cold weather calls for something warm, like Bak Kut Teh! :D I really prefer Old Street Bak Kut Teh over Songfa because it is less spicy (peppery). LOLOL. :D

(Beancurd that is overly sweet)

(Kidney no yikes)

(A table full of food)

On a side note, I'm quite excited for what's coming up for the summer break! I have got a whole list of things to do, and yesssh! I can't wait! (: Four more days to freedom.

Be a nice human.

First final for this semester and I died so badly. Sighs, someone need to cook me some pig brains soup to nourish my brains T.T Fml. I don't want to tank bell curve cries.

Studied very hard for it but somehow (1) the questions come out like I never see before kind?! (2) there are some memory questions which are giveaways but guess who forgot the factors and give away the marks to the professor (3) the weightage for each paper is so screwed seriously - 2 essay questions worth 20m and 40m respectively.

Sighs. Someone save me please.

Headed to Pizzahut @ Lot 1 the other day with the mother and sister. It was a total disappointment. I paid service charge but (1) food wasn't fantastic (2) the staff's attitude sucks (3) they didn't wash their cups properly because we gave up after asking for a change in the cups thrice.

(Ripped from giphy)

Sighs. Someone remind me not to patronise the Lot 1 branch again. T.T Anyways, we ordered one-for-one (x2) because we have three people. The fat life chose us. LOL.

(Chicken Royale Baked Pasta)

Fail. This dish sucks. There is no specialty and the portion quite small. It was very dry as well, the only redemption was that there was sufficient cheese. But sighs, this dish is no go.

(Curry Chicken Pie and Mash)

Pass. This was delicious surprisingly. Both the curry and the chicken pie, and even the mash potato, are legit. For a non-potato eater like me, I approve.

(Seafood Vongole)

Pass. This was good, but a little too spicy for me. I cannot take spicy for nuts LOL. They are very generous with their servings of seafood though! :D Loves.

(Chicken Pomodoro)

Fail. Their cherry tomatoes are so sour eew. I am a fan of cherry tomatoes but this is really not to my liking. The entire dish is like kinda towards the sour side? >.<

Sighs. Life. I'm blogging on the way home now, and there's so many children on the same train as me at this hour, and they are so noisy omg. I mean, I love kids generally. But when you have two babies in every carriage, things go out of control...

We both know how this ends but sometimes madness is common sense.

Curent status: 7/18 chapters down for tomorrow's exam.

Geeez. T.T How in the world can I finish revision before tomorrow?! It took me three days to finish 7 chapters and I already gave up reading the textbook. Sighs. I'm so sick of studying. T.T But I guess I should still appreciate time spent with books LOL, because working life is never fun. Sighs.

Reasons why I prefer taking modules with tons of assignments... I just can't bring myself to study. Short attention span and lack of motivation. I wondered how I survived my Secondary and JC. LOL. T.T Life's tough.

(Sharing the good times with y'all)

I got a Pizza from Pizzahut Express @ IMM at a promotional price. The entire pizza for just $20. Good for dinner. Hehehehes. (:

(Just look at that size)

(And it tastes very yummy)

Got the barbequed chicken flavor which I didn't know is spicy, but it still tastes delicious so I just gobbled down a slice, accompanied by a few cups of water after that. LOLOL. I suck ah. I forgot the other flavor that I got, oops. Is it pepperoni? Heh.

Scars have the strange power to remind us that our past is real.

That moment when you are an Arts student but you suck at writing essays/reflections.

It has been such a long time since I felt so dejected over my studies. T.T For the past few months, I learnt to keep an open mind and I constantly reminded myself that results isn't everything. And my results weren't that bad luh; they were relatively so-so.

Until this semester...

Why did I take a writing module. T.T And it's history somemore. Geeez, and the assessment breakdown for the module is all just essay/reflections. Wtf. It seemed like I'm just suiciding.

And everytime I submitted an assignment for the module, I felt very positive, but everytime I got back the results, my hopes just plunged all the way down. How do I even get lower and lower with every assignment. Fml.

I just want to eat and sleep. T.T Throwback to last weekend's lunch at NTU with the family. The stupid Western stall auntie just kept giving me attitude. Sighs.

(Beef Steak)

(Chargilled Chicken Chop)

And the food isn't even that nice. I should have just sticked back to my Mala Pot or Ayam Penyet. Sighs. Old is gold.

(Cheap version of Red Bean Pancakes)

I have always love red bean pancakes. This cost $3.80, and the Paradise Dynasty's $6.80. LOLOL and the portion for the former is way more than the latter. Sighs.

Is it if you cannot reach the top you have to settle for the bottom? Just like my results. T.T

Perhaps you told me
what you didn't mean.
And perhaps I just loved you
a love that was as deep as
your words.

Gratitude is absolutely the way to bring more into your life.

Hello guys! I'm back hahaha!

(Beautiful skies)

Went home late for the past few weeks, and the above picture was taken on one of my earlier days home. LOL, so pretty rights. Going home later is not as bad as it seems if you have beautiful skies to keep you accompany. Hehes.

Anyways, I felt so relieved because I submitted the last of my project/assignments today. I decided to stop procrastinating and rushed over the weekends. And yes, I rushed my assignments/projects on my birthday as well. Poor me. But yay, I'm finally done with those burdens! So done with life.

Eh no. I have my first final this coming Saturday. T.T

Ohwell, shall take a break to blog first. Hahahas, By the way, I haven't sort out all the pictures from my birthday. I will probably only have time after finals. This is really the most tiring semester ever. T.T Someone pity me please hahaha!

(Craving for Starbucks)

Today was a horrible day. After staying back in school for 4 days to do the brochure, I'm still not done with it. I wanted to head to school early today to finish up my brochure, but guess who overslept. LOL. Took me an hour to adjust the alignments and everything and I'm so glad that I'm done with it. But happiness is short-lived....

I headed to the library to test print my brochure. The alignment was still off. So I headed back to the lab to adjust it on the software again before going back to the library. The alignment was fine this time, but when I tried printing in colour, it came out black and white and they still charge me a dollar for it T.T Printed my GES assignment for submission, but I should blame myself for not converting to pdf because the alignment for it was off (dude, it was in Microsoft word how can the alignment be off).

Went to AS8 to print my brochure and the quality was so so so bad (I cannot emphasize enough) that I wasted a dollar on it again. Wanted to seek help from the CNM Technician but she was out for lunch, noooo. Decided to travel back to Kent Ridge just to print my stupid brochure. But the quality was great. Thankfully, I suspected it was the printer error in AS8 and not my Photoshop skills. Imagine myself spending more time in front of the computer trying to figure out why my pictures look so blurry when it is in fact the printer's fault...

In summary, I spent 4 hours in school today trying to print my completed brochure and to print and submit the other assignments. What a disastrous day.

(Cravings for llao llao this time)

This is a very boring post, but I felt the urge to rant because it was such a waste of time. Thank you for reading. :D Cheers!

Kill me with a truth, but don't make me happy with a lie.

I am excited to say that week 12 the hell week is finally over! I can finally take a breather before chionging again for the rest of the submissions due in two weeks’ time. Sighs. Life of an undergraduate. But it is okay, because everyone is as busy as me. Suck it up. Hahaha, :D

Summary of the week:

(Ripped from pinterest)

Monday - submission of NM3215 Project

It was plain horrible. The group (3/5 attendance) met up in the morning to do last minute edits to the group report, and we managed to finish just one hour before the deadline. However, my professor required us to submit hardcopies, so everything was a mad rush for us. It was hilarious to see the rest of the groups rushing in and out of the library/bookshop to grab/buy the stationery required for submission. Hey, I didn't know NUS students were all so last minute. LOL!

We often have communication breakdowns among the team. It was not an easy process (could have been made easier if people can just give and take *hint hint*), but I was glad that we managed to pull it off. P.S. I have close to ten group meetings with this team, it was plain horrible because the meetings were so unproductive?! It was over, so yay finally!

Special thanks to Manda for staying back in school with me to do SPSS even though it was not her project, and her tutorial was cancelled so actually she could went home much earlier... Hehehes, larva you so much!  You are so much more efficient than my groupmates T.T Sorry to say. Thanks for the llao llao date, it has been too long since we last had this. :D

(Ripped from Kraft)

Tuesday - NM2212 forum challenge, NM2212 discussion forum

Thankfully my professor decided to cancel lecture for today so I could stay home to rush out all my assignments and everything. I have so many things going on, that I actually didn't attend the NM2103 group meeting. But I trust that they could analyze the results themselves using the SPSS data I generated for them on Monday? Hehes. I'm just very happy that they do not have much of a problem with the analysis when I checked them later in the night. :D

(The Urban List)

Wednesday - NM2103 Presentation, NM3215 Presentation, NM3217 folder justification, GES1012 Term Paper

Back-to-back presentations and deadlines which was plain tiring. I'm glad that personally I didn't screw up for my own presentation part, however I'm quite pissed with some particular groupmate who exceeded the time presenting his part that he cut into my another groupmate's presentation time and she was cut by the professor T.T Sighs. I should have insisted on a rehearsal.

It was a long day and so, Amanda and I got ourselves Starbucks because there was the 1-for-1 promotions. I had the green tea frap whilst she got the chocolate chip frap. Hehes, I really love mine a lot! :D Camped in school to finish up my website and I finally submitted it. Omg, it was a nightmare. I enjoy doing the HTML and everything, because you really get the sense of achievement when you are done with it. However, perhaps it would be better if I am not so much in a rush. T.T For now, I just want to faster get it over and done with T.T

(Ripped from truelocal)

Thursday - NM2212 MCQ Quiz, NM2212 SAQ Quiz, NM2212 discussion forum

Stay-home Thursdays. Headed for tuition and ended up getting even more stressed because my tutee just cannot understand his things and exams were just round the corner. Nooooo.... Ms Angie will get you something nice if you pass your exam. Hahahaha! Bribery at its finest.

(Ripped from entitymag.com)

Friday - NM3217 Finals, NM3217 website, NM2212 Lecture Quiz, GES1012 forum

Screwed up the finals because I didn't exactly read my notes in depth due to lack of time. I was quite unsure most of the time and it was so nerve-wrecking because I wanted to score well for this module. Sighs. T.T When life gives you lemons, make lemonades. Decided to 'TGIF' by grabbing another cup of Starbucks again with the McGee mates, and I'm dying from all the calories inside. Zzz. Nonetheless, Starbucks is still nice. :D And yours truly here totally forgot about the existence of the forum until Amanda reminded me at 11pm plus. Geeez. I really suck.

It was a super mundane week with me rushing all the deadlines and looking as shag as hell. At least the difficult times are over (for now). Went home with J on Friday, and we talked about a lot of things that made me realised how fortunate I am to have a family that I can count on anytime. Thank you.

The night hides the world, but reveals a universe.

(ilight)

It was the sister's birthday, so we decided to venture out to the iLight exhibition to take a break from school. Hehehes :D The scenery is really breathtaking, look at that helix bridge. *screams internally*

(Art Zoo)

Because I'm so noob with directions, we ended up at Art Zoo instead of the main highlights. Oops. LOL, Art Zoo is for kids. T.T I didn't get tickets because (1) don't see the point of jumping because I'm old and no longer have energy (2) it just rained...

(Dayum, just look at the balloon)

It was so cute?! It was an octopus shaped balloon with led lights attached to the string. I bet that this balloon will be damn expensive, but nonetheless the queue for buying was snaking long. Hahaha, okay luh. Worth it because it is not everyday you get to see such balloons in Singapore.

(In the dark)

Guess what? Unlucky yanqi is unlucky. Just minutes before we stepped foot into iLight, all the sculptures black out. LOL. Because it is Earth Hour guys! Such luck. It was lucky that we were at the Art Zoo area, so by the time we walked to the main parts, the lights came back on.

(We lighted up the sculpture with our phone's torchlight)

Hahaha, when you are desperate, you use your own torchlight to light up the sculpture. What a pity. I saw this on my friends' Instagram and this was freaking pretty with the lights! x.x But since we were already here, I still want to take pictures. Even without the light. LOL!

(Look at that meat)

Expensive food was predicted, so we had dinner before we came. The food were like restaurant prices and I rather spend my money in restaurants because there's proper seats and aircons.

(Gastrobeats)

A fun-fair which reminds me of Christmas Wonderland. There's like tons of carnival games to play and food to eat. And even shops that resemble pasar-malams but on a more atas level. LOL.

(Rides)

They have this interesting ride that I never knew it existed in Singapore. Hahahaha, I always saw it in Koren variety shows though. But nah, I didn't try it out because home girl here has severe motion sicknes and she ain't going to risk it.

(Bubbles)

(Maneuvering a robot?)

(More lights)

This time the lights came back on because Earth Hour is over. Hehehe. (: It was still very crowded and my legs were super sore from all the walking. Is it #weak LOL

(Silent Disco)

This was an interesting concept! People wear headphones to dance, so it was kind of funny because audience (those people who are outside) are unable to hear any music but the people inside are dancing crazily. But if the point is to reduce noise pollution, it isn't working that well because those people were singing/screaming the songs out loud.

(It seems like some hero has landed in Singapore)

Or maybe I just think too much. Hahahaha, been working on superhero for a campaign project that my brain is automatically wired to seeing/thinking of superheroes everywhere. #lifesucks

(This is so on-point)

So that concludes the end of iLight. It feels so great to just take a breather from school and chill. And I won't be feeling guilty about not spending time on school work in the name of my sister's birthday. LOL.

(Happy Birthday to my baby sister)

Earl grey mango mousse from Polar which just tasted amazing. I love it when they have exotic flavors like this and it tasted nice. Hahaha, to my sister, I'm sorry for not getting you your favourite cream cake but hahaha I'm not that apologetic because earl grey mango mousse is like all my favourites combined together ehs! #isitminebirthday LOL :D

Take a deep breath,
Until your heart numbs,
Until it hurts a little,
Until you feel like there's nothing left inside.
