We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl, year after year.

It was a freaking busy recess week for me, sighs. I don't even think I am this busy during my usual school days?! Omg seriously. Monday was the best already, I only have one tuition scheduled, so I finally decided to start on my readings. Yikes, reading is wearisome work. Zzz.

On Tuesday, I headed to school early in the morning to meet Vivian (yeshh, she finally come NUS!) Hahahas, I took around an hour to plan out my news report assignment, and we spent the rest of the morning talking geeez, it has been long since I last met her. :D

(Waa Cow!)

Tried out their Pokebowls and it was unexpectedly quite delicious? I thought it was comparable to Tanuki Raw with a friendlier price. The chicken was honey dipped, so it was quite flavorful. The salmon was as nice as ever, I mean you cannot go wrong with it rights. Hahahas, the only sad thing is there were too many leaves, and too little rice. Ahh, I thrive on eating rice LOL. And it was funny how Gladys and Kangwei also came in for lunch, and they unknowingly sit at the table next to mine. Hahahas, omg. Long lost friends! I suddenly miss AJCO T.T

Attended the CNM internship briefing and I swear they chose the wrong venue. Why would people even hold their briefings at the small meeting room?! We had to use foldable chairs which is fine, but the worst part is that there is no space to walk even, and there are even people standing for the entire briefing because there were no space for chairs. Omg?! Lucky I turned up early.

Scheduled a project meeting after that since I'm already in school. Hahahas! :D It wasn't exactly a productive meeting, but yeahs at least we got some things sort out so yay!

(I realised we always take fitting room selfies, LOL?!)

Went back to find Vivian to go Bugis together. Didn't buy anything because everything is just too expensive. Shall wait for December, where all the sales come. LOL. #lowmaintenance But yeahs, we legit need to change our venue for our selfies. Hahahas, I looked at our past photos, and almost everything is taken in fitting rooms. Omg, no-go!

(Salmon for dinner again)

(Genki Sushi)

Salmon overload for the day. I think we ordered at least 3 plates of salmon sushi, excluding salmon sashimi. Hahahas, but I still find Genki one of my favourite Japanese shops for now. :D See you again soon, maybe I should go crash your hall again. Hahahas!

But yeahs, I find myself ridiculous because I went home and crashed without doing anything. And now I'm regretting because I haven't been studying or working on my assignments.

If I ventured in the slipstream
between the viaducts of your dream
Where immobile steel rims crack
& the ditch in the back roads stop,
Could you find me?

We must learn who is gold, and who is simply gold-plated.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival! :D I don't usually celebrate mid autumn, but this year my sister actually have cravings so we went to buy mooncakes heh (usually we got our mooncakes from friends/families).

Bought snowskin mooncakes in many exotic flavours which really taste fantastic and I don't regret my purchase except that I was really irritated by the cashier that day. Hmm.

(Durian mooncakes here, but we also bought champagne, passionfruit and soursop flavours)

No sparkles. No candles. No lanterns. The last time I played it was... too long ago till I have no recollection of it. Hmm.

But ohwell, I didn't have time for these because I have a midterm on Friday. It was badly screwed by the time, I hate myself for not being able to think of examples for the theories ohgawd. And I have no idea why I made careless mistakes for MCQs, I should have just went for my first answer instead of overthinking it. :3

(Wonder Bread)

My sister bought this home after school, and it is the first time that she actually bought something home for the family with the money she buy. LOL!

This looks too much like Chewy Junior, both the packaging and the food. Omg. I was still scolding my sister for not putting them in the fridge until she screamed back at me and say nobody put bread in fridge. Hahahahas, oops!

Our love is louder than words.

Four days of holidays.

Glad to enjoy myself over the weekend, with Monday off in-lieu-of Hari Raya, and no school on Tuesdays. Mwahahaha. But not enough ah, can't wait for recess week next week!!

Snacking on Famous Amos cookies the whole day today because Mummy's boss gave her one whole tin for her birthday hehehes! :DD And big milestone achieved, I am actually drinking tea more frequently now as compared to coffee yesshh! Guys, go try the Japanese Black Bean tea, it is very fragrant :D

(Train to Busan)

Finally caught the movie 'Train to Busan' with the family after hearing many good reviews on it. Hmm, I guess the movie was not bad except that I would prefer it if the movie had a story plot. Nonetheless, it was not bad and I teared up at the end because it was just too touching. Omg hahahahas! I legit cry for all the shows I watched arghs.

(Song Fa Bak Kut Teh)

Decided to try this for dinner. Is it a new shop? Because I have never seen it at Jurong before hmm. I prefer Old Street Bak Kut Teh though! Speaking of Bak Kut Teh, it brought me bad memories of our GET tutorial the week before. One group was presenting on shop names on Bak Kut Teh and there was this particular girl who speaks like she is never stopping omg. Too many reptitive elaborations which were not straight to the point. It was a torturous presentation that I have to sit in. T.T

(Last day of promotions)

Wanted to get the Mango Jelly yogurt drinks from Starbucks but they ran out of stocks. Hahahahas, got the Strawberry one instead and it tasted absolutely nice after I request the drinks to be less sweet. Hehehehes :D Loves. Starbucks is still the best.

Heaven has denied us its kingdom.
The giants are drunk, howling at the moon,
the chariots of angels are colliding.
Well, I'll run, babe, but I'll come running
straight to you.

Kill them with a success and bury them with a smile.

The Power of Silence

(Ripped from survivor-org.wikia.com)

"Silence can hold more meaning than words. It has power to make a heartless person love and had an innocent victim hate. It is much more powerful than words because it takes effort to keep. It is not only about closing your mouth. It is about taking in others' actions or words, thinking about them, formulating an answer, criticizing that answer, searching for logic from your mind and reason from your heart, and then convincing yourself that not saying the answer is better. Silence is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of intelligence and inner power. It is a sign of faith that replying in the same manner that you were treated with will only make you just as ignorant. Learn to be an observer, a deep one, who reflects not only on his or her mistakes, but also on the mistakes of others."

And when I hit the floor, will you lay there with me and remind me how to breathe?

(n.) the state of finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning

Sighs, I wish I can sleep in bed all day err day. Have been consistently late these past few days, oops. I'm so sorry to my professors and tutors LOL #teamforeverlate Anyways, two burdens down because I just handed up my assignments! YAY! :D Leggo yanqi, fighting! One midterm to go before I declare holiday (for a week only). T.T

And yesh, so happy that I finally got to see Ben for a little while today. It's has been like 4 months since we last met omg. So happy that he helped me get on the bus although I pulled him to the wrong bus, and he had to alight to board another bus instead. Hahahas, that blur king didn't change.

(Mummy's birthday last weekend)

Got my favourite fudge cake for mama's birthday, but I ended up being bashed up by everyone, because they want cream cakes instead. Why oh why, chocolate cakes are so tasty!! And we had Swensens for dinner. Freaking $80 bill, sighs. That's like working 8h for events geeeez. But okay, the food is awesome and we have free ice cream because of the birthday deal, :DDD All is not lost.

(Beef Lasagna)

(Crayfish Pasta)

(Curry Baked Rice)

(Seafood Pasta)

(Firehouse Ice Cream)

The food is really nice, or maybe I'm just too hungry. Hahahas! :D

Life's been lonely these days again because I'm just going to school and attending dreadful lessons alone. I hope a friend can drop down from the sky soon. But ohwell, I shall look at the positive side in every situation. I have more time to myself now :D

We took the town to town last night, we kissed like we invented it.

When you have been diligently reading your notes, there are no reflections to be done. When you are simply too busy to do your readings for a week, the reflections came in. And yup of course, I flunked it. T.T Geeez. Moral of the story: burn midnight oil also must finish reading your notes. Zzz. Just kidding.  Hahahaha!

I read a Dayre post recently by someone sho expressed her thoughts on her fellow course mates being very uptight about the reflections. Eh hello, one piece of reflection is a freaking 9% lehs?! Ohwell, okay. I guess it was just a freshie's mindset (the person who posted the Dayre post is a freshie). I admit I was once like that - a freshie who did not understand the competitiveness of University students until I got back my results. :3

(Platypus with Amanda)

They upgraded their dish. I went there feeling confused again. They allow us to pick four toppings now?! And there is a new stall inside Platypus selling overpriced Japanese food. LOL.

Just came home from tuition and I was feeling a little disheartened. Efforts once again were not correlational to results. T.T Depressed ahh. But no, I'm not going to give up on us. Perseverance yo! (:

Throwback to clique outing last week. Saizeriya with the babes because the restaurant sells cheap food (which also means that we can order more LOL).

(Pizza to share)

It tasted like the normal NTUC pizza that I always buy home and heat up for lunch. Hahahaha!

(Escargot)

Tasted not bad but garlic taste too strong. Hmm... In the moment of excitement, I forgot to take pictures of my pasta. T.T I think after trying many pasta, I still like the tuna mentaiko. LOL but it is only served for lunch Zzz.  Why oh why!

She only had enough gas for one trip,
so she drove to the stars.
One night, she hitched a ride back on
a falling star, and as someone wished on it,
she crashed into their world in
magnificent brilliance.

I was the match and you were the rock.

Really tired. I feel like a wreck.  Geeez.

I was telling Amanda yesterday night that I might probably quit blogging. There's so many things to write in school, and I don't want to write anymore. Walao seriously, it sucks to take two writing modules because it seems like you are writing 24/7 and the feeling is really horrible. T.T Someone save me from the blackhole please.

And I take back my words about my GET groupmates being procrastination king/queens. I'm glad for that, however they are still horrible people because I felt so ignored, but ohwell not going to complain after listening to Amanda's stories about her groupmates. LOL!

Anyways just a trend that I noticed: despite the norm thinking that guys are very slack, given my three semesters experience in school, I gathered that it is really good to have guy groupmates because they are smart creatures who can tank the project and they don't procrastinate as much as the girls. Look at Jimmy, Dewei, Kahfong, Jinjie, Ben, Idris and Richmond. Hmm.

Can't wait to pass up my two assignments for this week. Then yay two burdens down?! But hahaha I have to finish them first. :3

Throwback to last week's where we went to the new cafe in Arts AS8. It is called Coffee Roasted and they serve these healthy bowls, which is too healthy for me. LOL. :/ I prefer my Platypus @ Science.

(My chicken burrito is so dry, thankfully I got a drink)

The whole set costs $5.90, which is cheaper than Platypus though. But yeahs, I ain't coming back again. Platypus, here I come!

And I met up with Amanda and Christel to celebrate Christel's birthday. It was totally surprise failed hahaha. We were trying to find Christel in the restaurant but we can't. Christel ended up spotting us holding a cake with a candle lighted. Oops!

(I bought this set meal with the drink and icecream for $16.90)

I think I prefer to eat my Pepperlunch at the food court because it is much cheaper ahhh. Woes of an university student.

(The dumb, dumber and yanqi!)

Yes! We finally took a group photo! LOLOL! Really grateful to be still in contact with a JC friend. (That appreciation is even stronger given that I don't really have university friends hmmm).
