So we hit the town like our parachutes failed.

(Pretty corsage)

Tutorials started this week, but so far everything has been going fine. With the exception of my 8am NM2101 tutorial class because firstly, it is freaking 8am every Friday and secondly, the class only has 6 students. Wah T.T Lesson learnt: never ballot for 8am classes in the future. But I guess it will be easier to get my class participation points, since I don't have a choice but to speak when the tutor pinpoint people lmao.

But guess what! Yours truly finally passed the driving test a few days back, and it was on my first attempt. Woohoo! :DDD #happykid Because I spent a lot of $$$ on the lessons (even to the point of attending extra lessons and it was my hard-earned money), I really want to pass the test on my first try (to avoid wasting more money, and to boast LOL Kidding!) :D I will have an individual post on my driving experience soon because it is a major milestone in my life and I wanted to document it down. Hehehes!

But yeahs that's about it for this week. Meetups with friends were all postponed to next week, but it also meant that I had more time to go out for meals with my family, and to laze and relax at home to rest. :D Feeling super appreciative to my daddy who fetched me to school for two days in a row as I woke up late. Burden yanqi I know. But there won't be a next time when he returned back to work T.T

And I hope everyone is still surviving school! I'm barely surviving. :3

And what a beautiful mess this is,
It's like picking up trash in dresses.

Dreams are memories of the soul.

The golden sand of the hourglass continues to fall, grain by grain. Can't believe it is already the third week of my university life, and I felt that I have not gotten anything done. T.T Oh screw you upside down, yanqi!

Last week has been pretty much eventful. I only had three days of school, but I'm out almost every other day. I felt as though my soul has been suck up dry as I forced myself out of the house. :/ I am just lazy geeez.

I met with my babygirl for lessons as usual. It's good to have some company for lessons. Someone told me that it's okay to be alone. But being the blur me, I cannot survive alone in a module. >.< I will probably miss out some important information, write down the wrong notes, with no friends to consult my work with. I hate being a loner. T.T Sighs. I have low self esteem and am too dependent on people. That need to be changed. :3

(45 minutes worth of waiting time for free Bingsu!)

(Virgin experience at Platypus with Amanda after that)

And there's birthday celebrations as well. Which also means a hole in my wallet. /sobs/ But Happy birthday Kenneth and Peggy, you guys are still loved by me. (:

(Forced him to hold the camera)

(Astons for dinner)

He surprised me when he ordered the double-up chicken, soup of the day with a complimentary garlic bread, and even Starbucks after dinner. How the hell can a guy stuff all those down his throat?! Too much, omg.

P.S. Astons don't serve iced water for free. It freaking costs 30cents a cup. T.T I hate this kind of restaurants. Why must I pay for plain water?!

And soon after, it was Peggy's birthday. Came up with a surprise plan with Vivian, and I'm proud to say that it was a huge success! :D That shocked expression that she gave me while I walked in on their dinner with balloon and gift was priceless. Hahahahas!

(Featuring our new love Spongebob.)

But lesson learnt: don't attempt to hold a helium balloon on the MRT during peak hours if you do not wish to be squashed. I was trying to protect the balloon and I ended up getting pushed and swore at. Zzz. I wanted to swear back, but I held back because I am demure and gentle. LOLOLOL! :D

We enjoyed a great meal at The Sushi Bar, with desserts at the highly-raved P.S.Cafe.

(Super overpriced, but tasted amazing like hell)

(Double Chocolate Cake)

(Chocolate Banana Cheesecake)

But the cakes were sadly disappointing. Maybe I have too high an expectation of the cakes since I had heard tons of great reviews on it. That's bad. :3 And they were definitely not affordable. T.T They cost $16 and $15 respectively, excluding GST and service charge. Zzz. Not going back anymore.

Now I wish money would drop from the sky.

We'd remember tonight for the rest of our lives.

Backlog.
December 2015 happenings.

(Greeted by this view when I got out of car)

The Grandstand (mall), Turf Club

A super inaccessible place, sobs. Thankgawd I have car.

'Twas a happy day because of this steamboat buffet with family. I skipped my clique outing for this. Food > friends? Ooops! Hahahahas! :DDD

(This was what we are going to eat later!)

But first, leggo explore the mall! :D We reached way before the meeting time, so we have time to spare to go roam the mall. Hahahas! And guess what, Pasarbella is located right here in this mall. I have heard a lot of great reviews on this but I have yet to go before because it is freaking inaccessible without a car?!

(A mandatory picture)

(This looks good?!)

(They have tons of different food stalls selling different cuisine, and why was it freaking crowded on a weekday night?!)

(I don't really like beer though)

(Tempted to get this, but it was freaking small and not worth the price :3)

(Even their market looks high-class!)

(And woo, they have Marble Slab as well)

(Such cutesy furniture)

(Toilet signs that were so funny)

(It looks like a legit hotel toilet)

(I have no idea why are these in the toilet as well...)

(Because it was Christmas season)

I'm going back one day to eat all the good food. Hahahas! It will be a mini cafe-hopping experience because you get to eat so many different kinds of food in the same place. :D Good deal! But back to my steamboat buffet at 鲜捞 for now!

(Tried all kind of filters but it was still like that)

(Lousy quality photo because I paiseh to take a proper one LOL)

There's free flow of food and drinks and ice-cream, and they even have milk tea with pearls and aloe vera bits. :D It was quite worth it but I don't really like the service there :/ And I have to emphasise that the location is really inaccessible without a car LOL.

(Genuine laughters)

(Rawr at you)

(Whut?!)

(I missed my old hair....)

Ending off with a family photo. It has been so long since we take a proper family photo. Hahahahas! :DDD

(My loved ones)

Family times should be cherished.

Take me out of this phase.

Last Friday.

Met up with my two little pigs at Jurong East to shop for Moehan's belated 21st birthday present. Hahahas, are we horrible friends? It was his 21st birthday more than a week ago, but we were only celebrating it now, oops! x.x Hahahahas! :D And we finally settled on this cologne after smelling so many fragrances which were making me giddy. :3 May he become manlier and attract more pretty babes with this scent! LOL! :D

(With these lovelies, featuring my horrible haircut)

(Sirloin steak for lunch @ Hot Tomato)

Anyways, we bought Starbucks' new drinks
Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle and Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha before attending his Supply Specialist Cadet Ceremony. Unfortunately, they ran out of Chestnut and they gave us Caramel instead, but it was quite disappointing because the caramel overpowered the truffle taste, and I think I was just drinking caramel LOLOL. But their red velvet mocha was surprising good, :D It was not too sweet, and just right for me.

(Look who is all grown up now!)

We had our fair share of refreshments and photobooth moments (it was plain awkward because it seemed as though we were the only ones taking photos). But ohwell. Despite the army talks being super boring and all, I'm still glad that we went down to support him! :D

(Desserts @ Dessert Story)

Then we headed back to Sun Plaza for a chillax session over desserts. We tried to surprise him with a cake but unfortunately stupid shop has no lighter and we went everywhere to find somebody who has a lighter (we ended up looking for smokers), but as we were making our way back to the dessert place, a breeze came out of nowhere and there goes our flame. :/ Surprise failed, but ohwell, it is the thought that counts rights! Hahahas! P.S. Girls being girls, we only have ourselves to blame for forgetting to bring a lighter out. T.T

After which we headed to a nearby basketball court for a mini heart to heart talk session and guys, please remind me never ever to return to that horrible place, because I had mosquito bites all over my legs and they were freaking disgusting and itchy. /cries/ But ohwell, I guess it was a long time since we last met, and wah there were many juicy news that I didn't know of. Or am I just lag? LOLOL! :D

I had a one way ticket to a place
where all the demons go

where the wind don't change
and nothing in the ground can ever grow
No hope, just lies
And you're taught to cry into your pillow
But I survived.

Rewind the happiness.

First week of school was horrible.

Just when I thought 2016 would be a better year for me, yours truly could not wake up on time on the first day of school, and guess who even overshot her MRT ride? Boy, I was nearly late for school, and it was just the first day?! -.- Ohgeez, and if that was not enough, my shoes broke while I was on my way home. What luck! Horrible start to the school term, and nothing is going right for me. Zzz.

Anyways, special mention to the sweetest friend on Earth, Huiqi, because she offered to come down to help me, but I declined because she still have to travel all the way down from NTU, and the journey is quite far. But okay, because I survived eventually.

~

And I met up with these babes on Thursday. Missing the good old Secondary school days, :D They made life in NTU sound damn interesting, geez how I wish right now I am studying in NTU instead, and perhaps I won't be leading such a boring life now. :/

(Good company)

(but ohgosh, I looked horrible in the photos)

Went for Korean cuisine and I got myself a beef champong and the three of us shared a plate of waffle fries which tasted heavenly (y'know I hate potato stuff, but these fries were really finger-licking good)! It was cheap because there was a bunch of NTU kids (strangers) who 'jio-ed' us to eat with them because they had this 40% discount voucher that can only be utilised if 8 or more people dine in the restaurant. And whoopee, what a great deal! :DDD

(Korean champong with beef)

(Cheesy waffle fries)

After which, we went for a little window shopping before stopping by Blackball for our dessert. (: YAY, thanks Huiqi and Xiaofang for a great day, and cheers to more meetups!

Clipped wings.
I was a broken thing.
You would wind me down.

I struggled on the ground.

Be the best you can be, even when no one's watching.

Backlog.
December 2015 happenings.

I decided to drag Amanda to the Singapore Art Museum the other day because I wanna take photobooth photos LOL! But hehehes, things haven't change much the last time I went (during secondary school days). :DD #happykid

And I'm glad that I managed to catch the Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition, because the paintings are all very meaningful and they really touch my heart. Ohyeahs, did I mention before that I am quite interested in Art Therapy and I actually wanted to go for some crash course after A's but it is $$$ freaking expensive sighs. :/

Below are some pictures that I took in the exhibition:

(Broken ladder but it is still standing strong. Life, which is represented by the ladder, may be filled with setbacks [spilled drinks], but these setbacks will not break us.)

(Love gives us hope. We will be flying like the birds in the painting towards the sky of love.)

(When one is met with setbacks, just climb over it and you will soon see light in front of you.)

Decided not to spam too many photos of the paintings because they might bore y'all. Hahahahas! :D I really enjoyed my time there, albeit a short one. But hehes, since we are already here at SAM which has a rich architecture design... We have to take mandatory photoshoots rights! :DD

(It took us !@#$/^&* long trying to set up the phone camera before someone offered to help us take this shot)

(And it took three different stranger photographers before we approved this picture)

(Do I look elegant enough already?)

(With the noobshit)

(YAY to more bestie times!)

And whoosh, time flies. We hurried to the photobooth (only finding it after getting lost for quite some time because everywhere looked the same in the museum). And ohno, we were met with an emergency (of not having enough coins z.z and the stupid photobooth does not accept 5 cents coins). But yay, the kind museum security uncle is generous enough to 'donate' some coins to us so we can photobooth. We returned him after which with many 5 cents coins LOLOL! (At least we didn't extort $$$ from stranger rights!)

Then we rushed to Christmas Wonderland (again, for me LOL) because my sister was putting up a choir performance there, and as the best sister on Earth, I ought to show her some support :P

(Beautiful shot isn't it?)

(The place where my sister was carolling)

(Spot her!)

Hahahahas, tried to squeeze everywhere with Manda to get the best viewing spot to see my sister. And cheers to her because their carolling was a quite success (Y) Hehes!

(Overly orangey hues)

(Luging our shopping bags around)

(Photobombed by the red shirt giant sighs, he photobombed so many of my photos zzz)

(Woohoo, I really love the lights!)

This time round I didn't get a good spot to view the light show but it's okay because I managed to catch it with Aloy the other day and the view was fantastic. (: However, guess what! This time there was foam and bubbles! Hahahahas! Damn interesting as we immersed ourselves in the fun. :DD

Trudged home with heavy feet after that and I felt shag like never before. Thank goodness for the newly opened Downtown MRT Line. (:

There is good in every situation.
Sometimes we just have to look for it.
