Day 1 in Taiwan

Hmm, it was a great feeling to be heading towards the airport the next day after the end of my A's. Hahahas! So yup, I reached Changi airport at like 11pm. Checked in, ate my Burger King supper, and take pictures with the cute Disney cut-outs and everything. :D

This time round, I headed to Taichung and Taipei.

So my first stop in Taiwan: Cingjing Farm 清境农场

A farm place where you get to see and touch animals, mainly sheep.

Hahahas, the scorching sun forced me to remove my jacket. LOL! :D Anyways, a kind soul donated her remaining sheep food to us so we can use it to tempt the sheep to smile at the camera (but apparently, we lacked the skills T.T) Hahahahas! Thank you stranger! :D

Strangely, the farm hosts horses as well, and there are horses animal shows. But I missed both the timings for the shows, and I don't seem to see any horses around?! Wth. My horses!!

PS. The scenery over there are simply breathtaking! I actually have severe motion sickness, and in a moment of excitement, I forgot to take my motion sickness medication, and the car trip up to this farm made me feel like vomitting. But I can say that the view is worth it. :DDD

Hahahas, an interesting food that I have never ever imagined. Goat milk. Say what?! With mushrooms, vegetables, pork, corn ... The hotpot taste delicious, seriously! Ordered a cup of lavender milktea to go with it.

Then we went to the nearby Swiss Garden 瑞士花园, thinking that it will be somewhat similar to our Gardens by the Bay. (If I never even remember wrongly, it costs $10/pax)

PS. It is so not worth it. The garden is super small, I think I took less than an hour to finish walking it. The flowers are wilting/wilted, I guess due to the winter season, so the flowers aren't nice at all. Perhaps the views seem pretty from my photos, but I swear it is because of my excellent phototaking skills, and not because of the pretty scenery.

They all look super grand rights! But the accomodation costs a lot there T.T So we chose to stayover at this 云南风情 resort. Hahahas, not bad luh. Super a lot of feel one! :DDD

The entire resort is like made of wood! Hahahahas! :D The room is quite okay, clean and all. The toilet is more spacious than my bed area. Lmao! :D

We had maggie noodles for dinner, because the farm is abit ulu and we are lazy to travel all the way to get food. Hahahahas! :D The maggie noodles super cool one okay! Really got meat inside! (Depends on which brand you buy also, hahahas!)

True happiness.

They do not exist forever. I'm talking about those kind of true happiness that you genuinely feel it in your heart. You can't steal it, buy it or borrow it. You can only choose to live in that moment of bliss, and take in the most you can, and hold the door for them when they go away again. (Yeahs, although they always go away, more will arrive soon :D)

So start paying attention to the little things around you. You will soon notice there are many beautiful things surrounding you, shining on you like a fairy godmother. Get rid of those unnecessary high expectations that you place on yourself. They are just demons waiting to devour you up to satisfy their insatiable hunger. Yeahs, these stress are unwanted and unnecessary.

Close your eyes. Take in a deep breath. Look. I'm sure happiness is just beside you.

Throwback to a study (play) date with Vian, hahahas! :D I really like the atmosphere and experience there. I will return for a second visit, just for their desserts and latte. (I don't have that much of a good impression of their main course though, lmao)

Hahahas, I think their all-day breakfast looks quite appetising. It tasted alright, but not as fantastic, so I guess is not really worth the price? Hahahas, it is priced at $13.50 and $16.50 respectively (if I never remember wrongly).

(Green Tea Latte)

I'm in love with their latte art! Read up on some reviews before heading there, and they say I could actually request the picture for the latte. However, when I request, they just turned me down, and say the picture is standard one. Wtf?! But nonetheless, the lion is still cute, so okay luh. :D $7 and the cup is actually quite big. Worth it!

P.S. I heard that if you go on your birthday, you will be able to upsize your latte at the original price. Their upsize is no joke. Gigantic stuff!

First time seeing and trying green tea flavoured lava cake. Hahahas, no green tea oozing out but the $5 cake still taste great. Overall, I think it is worth a try. Hahahas!

This is their best-selling cake! Hahahas, it tasted out of the world. Damn delicious I cannot. But the sides taste too erms, salty? Hahahas! But the rest is damn niceeee! Omg, I wanted to try all the other flavours of their cheesecakes, but budget budget. D:

Food aside, I like the cafe because there are many huge enormous gigantic teddy bears lying around. Hahahas! Vian and I managed to get hold of one teddy each, mwahahas!
