We'll never fall apart. 'Cause we fit together like, two pieces of a broken heart.

#happykyuziziday
Happy belated birthday leader Sungkyu!
(Birthday's on April 28, but I was too busy that I forgot x.x)

(The sexy)

(Album photo)

Sungkyu's going to drop the long-awaited solo album on May 11. Ahhhh, I can't wait! 8 more days hahahas. I love his voice like seriously, and his funny character where he always 'bully' the other INFINITE members just because he is the eldest. LOLOL! Loves.

So anyways, despite all the 'chaos' and hastiness this week that left me feeling blue, I am in high spirits because INFINITE just released their Japanese songs a few days ago. It was yet another job well done. Well, they never disappoint! /smiley/

(INFINITE)

I'm loving it although this time round the songs are quite different from their usual style. && Woohyun got a lot of singing parts this time (okay, he is main singer, so will definitely get more singing parts than the others, but then this time round he got even more singing parts than usual)! *fangirl mode on*

(Teaser photo!)

First row: Sungjong, Sungkyu
Second row: L, Hoya, Woohyun
Third row: Dongwoo, Sungyeol

(I thought this one looked super cool)

(More Woohyun)

Hahahas, INFINITE will have another Korean comeback later in this month. Something that will keep me going throughout the arduous month of May (because my workload in company is on an exponential rise recently, sighpie). I'm eggcited omfg!

~

Anyways, recently I've been thinking. Three more months left to university, but I have not accomplished anything that I wanted to. Xiaofang went for a birthday staycation, and is heading to Taiwan with her friends this coming month. Vivian went for a Super Junior 6 concert two days ago. Huiqi stepped out of her comfort zone and went to learn dancing. But what have I done? Nothing. Just shopping and singing and singing and shopping. x.x

Okay. I am having a 'mid-life crisis' now. Lmao. Feel like trying out something new that I have not done before, but I don't know what can I do. :3

Sighpie. 1am now. I just finished watching the latest episode of Running Man (the dangerous bride episode) to keep myself from thinking too much. The variety show was super hilarious I cannot. It is really a good remedy.

I'll make you a heart pendant,
with a pebble held in my hand.
And I'll carve it like a necklace,
so the heart falls where your chest is.
And now a piece of me
is a piece of the beach
and it falls just where it needs to be
and rest peacefully.
So you just need to breathe,
to feel my heart against yours now.

Take these broken wings and learn to fly.

The biggest challenge in life is discovering who you are. The second biggest challenge in life is being happy with what you find.

(Ripped from ewallpaperhub.com)

I've made some resolutions after A's last year. Hmm, more like a list of must-do things before university starts officially. However, apparently I've learnt that resolutions are useless. How many of us actually follow the resolutions we made? >.< I am a classic example. Three months left to university and I haven't completed any of my resolutions :/

~

1) Continue to pick up my electone (but I'm lazy to travel to Dhoby Ghaut weekly for the lessons)

2) Learn my ukelele (it was simply too hard for me and I often get finger cramps)

3) Join camps and socialise more (and I'm going to miss a upcoming FASS camp due to my Korea trip)

4) Learn driving (yet I haven't even pass my BTT)

~

0/4 accomplished. Good job, yanqi, good job. Lesson of the day: Do not procrastinate.

Well you only need the light when it's burning low.
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow.
Only know you love her when you let her go.

Life is demanding without understanding.

What happens in my mind when I have a sudden craving for something:

(llaollao!)

Millions of llaollao cups just keep flashing in my mind but LOLOL, I am still at work now (typing this in a toilet cubicle because I am just too tired to continue working; this is a mini break I set for myself :P) Ohgeeez, but I'll have to chiong my work today if I don't want to head back to work tomorrow. And yes, tomorrow's Labour Day - public holiday T.T

Sighpie. I'm tired and hungry and sleepy. T.T And I am flipping through pictures in my gallery now which is filled with food omg.

-If you cant have something physically, at least have it mentally-

This is why I always take pictures of all the food that I eat. You know, they serve a great purpose of filling up your tummy virtually. Hahahahahas! (:

Throwback to more food:

(Timhowan)

I finally made a visit down to the highly-raved Tim Ho Wan a few weeks ago with my family and grandmama. I guess it is on the expensive side, and nothing too special except for the buns at the bottom left hand corner. Those are totally daebak! (Y)

P.S. The size of the photos in the grid determines the tastiness of the dish. So yeahs. (:

Okay, a short post because I have to go back to work before any one of them start to make a police report of a missing employee. Hahahahahas!

Ciao!

Eventually all the pieces will fall into place.
Until then, laugh at the confusion.
Live for the moment and know that
Everything happens for a reason.

My mind is like a machine that never stops working.

Living the life of a princess
(Part VII)

I swear this will be the last episode of my birthday celebrations. Hahahahas! (:

(Awesome catch-up with le clique)

Missing Evelias, who cannot make it for she was sick. But many thanks to my babes for creating such an awesome time over dinner even though you guys are super late. Hahahahas.

P.S. I love the present and the cake. ♡
But no more Causeway Point. Omg. No more.

~

Recently, I started watching Code Blue, some Japanese drama that was screening on the television (Channel U, weekends 9pm). Some people may think that it was a lousy show because there wasn't any plot at all. Yet the drama depicts traumatic medical situations (it is a medical show) which can be quite interesting at times (I'm not being a sadist here), and I got to witness the fragility of life. The sudden realisation that doctors and the medical teams are actually very noble dawned on me.

And of course the actors/actresses make it even more worthwhile to watch. Lmao! My current hot favourite: Tomohisa Yamashita. ♡

(Tomohisa Yamashita)

(How can someone look so dreamy?!)

(Shuai omg!)

I'm no fan of Japanese dramas, but this guy is really too nice-looking omg. And he won the best actor with this show. Hahahahas! ♡

Anyways, there are plenty of pretty good shows screening on the television recently. From Emergency Couple, to Code Blue, to My Daughter, Seoyoung, to 虎妈 and all sorts of variety shows, with my favourite being 国际交易所 and Mars vs Venus. A heaven for TV addicts like me LOL! However, if you ask me if it's really that great, I have no answer actually.

I mean, it's good because I have always yearn for dramas to screen longer on the television (I have more drama time now since I'm not schooling). But when it really does, I felt that it is kinda time wasting. T.T Imagine yourself just snacking on tidbits and lazing on the sofa the entire night with your eyes plastered on the screen. Horrible :/ I find myself not doing anything meaningful/useful, and am fast becoming a couch potato, and yet I can't lift my eyes off the tv. Ohgeez. That power televisions hold on me T.T I'm an absolute slave to televisions.

Just me and my rants because I have been too bummed out recently due to work. Sighpie. Sorry if I late reply / never reply messages, it has really been an exhausting day even though it was only Monday. Monday blues.

And I'm lost behind
The words I'll never find.
And I'm left behind
As seasons roll by.

Don't just follow your heart. Lead your heart where you want it to go.

Living the life of an princess
(Part VI)

Oops, it turned out to be more than I thought. But ohwell. Hahahahas! (: I am a fan of birthday celebrations.

Throwback to my birthday dinner last week @ Crystal Jade Kitchen, Causeway Point with my dear family. Seemed to be hitting on Causeway Point pretty often these days lmao. :/

Recently I have cravings for Chinese meals...

(Champagne Spare Ribs)

(Cereal prawns that was a real disappointment)

(French beans?)

(Some vegetables)

Sorry I suck at recognising vegetables LOLOL, my sister ordered everything so hahahahas! (: But at least, I know the existence of purple cabbage, unlike Seah. :P LOLOL! I have absolutely zero interest in cooking. I live just to eat.

(Fried fish skin that my mummy loves especially)

(Fried wanton that is da bomb!)

(梅菜扣肉 that all Hakkas love)

(Favourite custard buns!)

Ordered a tad too many dishes, but we managed to clean it off. :D Hahahahas, I simply love to eat. Food is the only thing that makes me spend money willingly without a care in the world.

~

Anyways, after what seemed like eternity, I finally received offers from NUS FASS, NTU Psych and SMU business. :D /heaved a sigh of relief/ I'm elated because they were all my first choices. Now all that's left is just to finish this multiple choice question, and submit my final answer.

And I'm sure I will take NUS in the end. But for some reason, I have yet to accept the offer. I am waiting. Waiting for something I don't know what. Just waiting. T.T

Perhaps it is the burden of heavy responsibilities that comes with my choice. Life sucks.

Two full years and a spread of fears.
I get down on my knees, eat my fears
and fall away.

Eat my body and drink my cup.
Let the wine of the galaxies fill you up
And fall away.

Everything has beauty but not everyone can see it.

(Recent cravings)

Life of a princess no more, now I'm living as a fugitive. (Running away from work) T.T

I used to welcome the idea of working overtime, because I am actually a workaholic, and it is also a source of extra income, why not? I have the time anyway. But now that it is really going to happen, I started to dread it.

In the past, the work were relatively easy as compared to now. It was more on admin matters; I took on easy jobs like scanning, printing and photocopying. Now, I am looking more and more at numbers, which can be quite overwhelming at times. T.T And assignments after assignments were thrown onto me, forming a huge mountain. I felt a little suffocated to be honest.

But it's okay. It is a great chance to learn. I mean, the busier you get, the more things you'll learn right? Sighpie. But I'm not ready to take on the challenge yet. :3

Today, I guessed I was supposed to work overtime because there were some urgent assignments. Okay no wait, actually I was in the midst of doing Assignment A and they threw Assignment B to me, asking me to clear it first for it is more urgent. More urgent doesn't mean it is urgent and should be passed up at the end of the day rights? LOLOL! I'm using word play to convince myself that it is not really wrong for me to sneak out because I don't want to work overtime.

And yup, you saw that correctly. I sneaked out because I don't want to work overtime. Hahahahas! But karma strikes at its best. T.T I didn't know it was raining. And because I'm 'on the run', I was in a hurry to get out of the office and boom! As soon as I opened the door, the rain started pelting down hard on me and I was drenched from head to toe. :/ I ran back to the building again to prepare my umbrella before venturing out again.

Trying to avoid the rain (because my umbrella is quite weak against the strong winds), I brisk walked to the MRT station as fast as my legs could carry me. And uhno, I tripped over my feet. Zzz, fell hard on the cold unfeeling wet ground, but thank gawd there was nobody around to witness this embarrassing scene. I quickly got back on my feet, brushed my skirt, and started walking again.

Can things get any worse? A few seconds later, a stupid bus zoomed past and it made such a big splash and I got wet once again. And... I'm wearing white. Omg. What lousy luck! Yeahs, perhaps staying to work overtime is a better idea. Sighpie.

Ending off with yet another artistic shot of my current favourite. Hope the day will get better. x.x

(Starbucks please!)

My hands are cold, my body's numb.
I'm still in shock, what have you done?
My heart is pounding, my vision's blurred.
Your mouth is moving, I don't hear a word.

People who shine from within don't need the spotlight.

Living the life of a princess
(Part V)

Happy birthday to Xiaofang bae! Hahahahas, I love how we always make it a point to celebrate our birthdays together years after years because our age difference is a mere 4 days. LOLOL! I still remember myself opting to go AJ because of you (I am a follower, sadly), and although we are of different classes, we joined the same CCA under the same section. Great sacrifice from you to join me in my section. :D

(5 years of friendship and still counting)

This year, we only met up for dinner. But nonetheless, it still felt great because there is no awkwardness between us, and I felt so much at ease chatting with my old friend. Thanks for the great dinner over at Ichiban Boshi and dessert llaollao, :DD

(New addition to the family)

Spot the middle rainbow Craftholic. Hahahahas, thanks Xiaofang for the gift. I am ready to take on the next Craftholic dolly for my collection. LOL! (Okay I lied. I don't really like receiving soft toys. I like practical stuff.) Hahahas! :/ But still, it's okay. The idea of a Craftholic collection sounds pretty unique and amazing. :D

And I want to dedicate another segment of the post to le bestie Huiqi. Funny how our interests and personalities are totally opposites - I am North pole, you are South pole. Hahahahas! (: But they say opposites attract. I'm grateful for the past 6 years of friendship.

(Why do I seem like I suffer from hair loss -.-)

Feeling exhilarated because I finally got off my lazy ass and went to exercise by playing table tennis with this woman. Endorphins released. And this woman booked the table at 9am CCK, which I thought it was super early although the sports hall is in CCK. And she lives in Hougang T.T

She treated me lunch at Pizzahut because I have no idea what I want for a present. Then we headed to do my favourite past time - the ktv. LOLOL! Researched and realised CCK Kbox is cheaper compared to the other Kbox outlets, and so there we go! Three hours of non-stop singing till our voices became hoarse now.

Anyways, I have come to love Jay Chou songs again, his new songs in particular. I especially find his lyrics super meaningful, and the tunes are still as catchy as ever. He is truly a pioneer in the music industry, a legendary figure. (Y)

Maybe this is wishful thinking.
Probably mindless dreaming.
And if we loved again,
I swear I'd love you right.
