But I've got a blank space, baby, and I'll write your name.

Day 3 in Taiwan

So rise and shine! Time for morning exercise! So we took a stroll by the dam located just beside my hotel. It is a 风和日丽,凉风习习的 morning. :D The fresh air was crisp, leaving everyone to feel refreshed and exhilarated. It was a beautiful morning.

(View from my hotel room balcony)

(The brown building is where I stayed)

(The reflection of the mountain in the waters!)

(The sun is rising finally!)

(A golden glow spread across the sky as the sun rise)

(那些年,我们一起看的日出)

(Selfie by the captivating scenery)

(Trees in the warm tropical sunshine)

(Family photo by the crimson landscape)

(Family photo by the woods)

(The sun spill light all over us)

(The multiple expressions)

(Yeahs more selfie time)

(I am really amazed by the reflection in the waters)

(More trees)

(Bathed in a golden hue by the gentle sunlight)

(I love the orange-y leaves!)

(The view from the other side of the dam)

(And yes, we spotted a dead frog)

(Lovely flower that enchants with its soft sophistication)

(The swan/duck licking its feathers)

We headed back to the hotel for breakfast after the amazing walk. Who knows we can see such pretty scenery by the dam near our hotel? Hahahas! :D The taxi chauffeured us to the nearby 向山 (I think) for more beautiful landscapes.

(Don't the crystal blue waters look inviting?)

(Family photo by the waters)

(Breathless)

(The voice of the waters speaks to the soul)

"Because there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away."
-Sarah Kay

Then we headed to the train station for a photo-taking session.

(I guess you can't see that it is a train, lmao!)

Next destination: 妖怪村
where all the demons and monsters live

(At the entrance)

(Check out their cute packaging!)

(I'm in love with their packaging, omg!)

(Their crackers which is like 50cm long -.-)

(The gigantic bread)

(Black wanton and black noodles)

(The dual ice-cream flavours: charcoal and honeydew)

The village is quite small. Spent two hours over there, before we went on a hiking trip at 杉林溪. Again. Omg, tired die me. 杉林溪 is a 国家保护区, many of their landscapes are formed by a major enormous big gigantic earthquake that struck the land a few years back.

(Took a bus up to the 'peak')

(Their toilet is cute can!)

(Stone roads, green trees)

(A fountain by the truly crystal clear waters)

(The rock-structure-thing-like that towers over us)

(By the amazing waterfall)

(Wooden paths)

(My daddy says hi!)

(A weird tree)

(Terrifying stairs that is never ending)

(Check out the eyes behind us!)

(A little pitch-dark cave which we had to pass)

(Weird flowers)

(More weird flowers)

(A mini garden)

(Rows of trees)

(Hahas, my daddy so cute!)

(And he falls)

(My sister is able to hold out long enough to take a picture)

(I have a clear conscience)

(My mummy is cross-eyed here, LOL!)

So this stone is the 考罪石. The stone is super pointy with super small surface area. It is said that if you are able to stand on the stone with one leg, it means you have a clear conscience and that you are selfless and didn't do anything bad and stuff. In short, you are a saint. Hahahahas! :D This reminds me of somebody who dared to exclaim that he is one. Kns.

(I photobombed le sister)

(Rows of maple trees)

(I think I look decent here)

(I have to say, my sister have great photography skills)

(But even with great photography skills, you need a gorgeous model as well :P)

(Peek-a-boo!)

(I like this picture, LOL)

(See the clouds?)

It was a tiring yet fulfilling day. The weather was great, the company was great, I am great. Hahahahas! :D We dragged our sore feet and trudged back to the hotel (from the lobby, LOL!!). This is the nicest and best hotel throughout my 6 days stay in Taiwan! Le-Parker Hotel!

(The room is small yet cosy)

We threw our things all around the room before heading out to 逢甲夜市 for dinner and more shopping! Time to get my cravings satisfied. :D Cheers!

(I am addicted to smelly tofu)

(My daddy, featuring 大肠包小肠)

(The amazing steak)

(The bubbletea which is bigger than my face)

Hahahas, that's all for the day. :D Of course we ate more than just these, but I'm super lazy to post everything. Hahahahs! I miss Taiwan, sighpie.

We are so often caught up in our destination
that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially
the goodness of the people we meet on the way.
Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don't overlook it.
